Great Product!
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Used this tent in a windy and rainy storm in Oklahoma. It did great! No leaks. Also easy to install and remove. I have a 2020 GMC Seirra 2500, 6ft bed. Fit no problem

Perfect fit!
Easy set up. Great value and is exactly what is described. Fits very well in 5.5 foot F150 bed. As long as you are careful setting it up (as you should be setting up any tent with bendy poles) you are good. Color coordinated poles and slots to put them are great as well.

Affordable and well designed.
I recently took the JOYTUTUS Pickup Truck Tent (5ft 2.0, Orange, Aluminum Pole version) on a camping trip to the Adirondacks, and overall, I was impressed by its performance. Setting it up was fairly straightforward—even solo. The aluminum poles are lightweight but strong, and everything fit snugly into the truck bed (I used it with a 5' short bed). The color-coded poles helped simplify the process. It took me about 20 minutes to fully set it up the first time, and even less after that.Inside, there was plenty of room for two people, along with some gear. The ceiling height was decent—I could sit up comfortably without brushing the roof. The interior pockets were a nice touch for keeping small items organized. The ventilation was also solid, with multiple windows and mesh panels to keep airflow steady without letting bugs in.Note the rain guard was helpful but some condensation build up was present on the interior walls of the tent. Consider coating tent with additional waterproofing membrane. If you're looking for a reliable truck tent for weekend adventures or multi-day trips like our recent ADK excursion, the JOYTUTUS 5ft 2.0 is a solid choice. It balances durability, comfort, and ease of use extremely well—especially at its price point.

I Was Wrong.....
UPDATE April 13, 2025-After having used this tent on a recent camping outing, this truck tent is actually pretty darn good. While set up is a bit fiddly, overall, it was a very solid shelter that was room and had PLENTY of headroom. The ten materials are solid and provided plenty of protection from the chilly winds along the Appalachain Trail. The zippers are very good and did not snag upon entry and exit. I did experience a little rain and the fly kept me dry. I do feel confident that this tent can old up to long periods of rain and not wet out. In addition, this tent really shines when dipsersed camping. All you need is a flat spot to park your truck, set up your shelter and you have a comfortable place to sleep for the night. If you're on the fence, go ahead and give this tent a try. Customer service is very responsive and will work with you if you have any issues so you have nothing to lose! Happy camping!UPDATE: I received a replacement tent with aluminum poles and that was extremely cool of the vendor. Sadly, I am still having issues with this tent. This time, the tent came with a bent pole tip. PLEASE tell me how I can get a spare set of poles? I really want to love this tent but these issues are becoming annoying in a hurry!I was very excited about this tent after reading reviews and watching multiple videos. Sadly, this tent did not come close to my expectations. The tent poles are VERY flimsy and the knots on the ends of the shock cord can be pulled through the poles without much pressure. In addition, setting this think up is a nightmare. Poles won’t stay in their pockets and too much care has to be taken to not break these flimsy fiberglass poles. Just an awful tent. Save your money and avoid this junk.

great tent for a small pickup
Great little tent. Fits great on my Honda Ridgeline. Easy to put up. survived a 2 hour monsoon style rainstorm nice and dry. Even realized the rain fly was upside down when I took the tent down.

Very satisfied with the truck tent
First time setting this tent up and I’m quite pleased with how easy it was, along with the snug fit. It’s much more roomy than I thought on the inside! The material looks like good quality that should stay nice and dry through our PNW rain. I love how the flaps go over the sides of the bed which will keep water from pooling in the bed. We’ve got a coupe roll up camping pads so I’m sure it’ll be a cozy experience when we take it out tomorrow. I also really like the design and colors 👍

Strong Against Wind, Poor With Humidity
The media could not be loaded. Pros:- easy to set up on your own- stayed up without issue against three days and nights of constant 35mph winds- 2 mesh pockets on either side and an access point for the rear truck window- nice big windows on either side- about the size of a 3-person tent, so two average sized people should fit comfortably and without issue.- bottom of the tent extends out to the edge of the tailgate, creating a great transitional area between outside and inside. I didn’t buy the awning addition, and I wouldn’t have put it up in the wind anyway, but might work well for a low-wind location.Cons:- NOT waterproof, had to wipe down the tent every morning from the fog’s condensation.- cheap plastic fastenings and connectors, broke one out of the package, but was still able to secure the strap by tying it.- zippers were low quality. The hardest part of using this tent was trying to zip the damn door shut. There could have also been more than one zipper on each zip for easier access.- design of the hooks on the secure straps was subpar. They were coated with protective rubber, but only on the tip. Did some significant scratching on the sides of my truck, which could have been averted if I’d put a cushion between the hooks and the truck, or if the hook had been fully coated.- The poles were meant to sit in the holes used for installing toolboxes and lumber bars, but my bed liner covers those holes up and it was very difficult to figure out where to rest the poles without them.Overall: Don’t buy if you’re expecting wet or humid weather, but it worked great in the wind. Easy to set up, but the zippers were a struggle.Wish it Had: a skylight window option and loops on the corners for truck bed/floor camping versatility
