Easy to learn, Quick to play, Highly addictive!
I saw Project L at a bargain price so couldn't pass up the opportunity to buy this. As a board gamer who plays anything from lightweight games like Kaurba, Carcassonne, Splendor all the way up to more heavier games like Nemesis, I've tried them all.Project L fits in the light weight category and can be used as a warm up game or even a "gateway" game to get people into the world of boardgaming. The box feels very nice, though the item did arrive shrink wrapped only without any protection. Luckily no damage to the box.Inside the insert does the job, but not ideal. It's a very small box so stores compactly and can be taken ith you. Resorted to using a small box to store the pieces instead of baggies for each colour. The pieces are really high quality and the cards are also fairly thick and strong. Overall for production quality I can't really fault it.The game is simple, you get actions you can do that range from:Claiming a puzzlePlaying a piece/BuildUpgrading a pieceWith the additional "Master build" which allows you to play a piece onto each puzzle in front of you. Each puzzle has a shape inside you need to fill using your little pieces you have. As you fill these, you'll put the card in front of you face down, gaining all your pieces back and an additional piece as a reward. As you do this, your piece collection builds up vastly so you can then claim more harder puzzles worth more points. Some puzzles are also worth victory points. Harder puzzles give you stronger pieces, though you can always upgrade into them later.Once the black backed puzzles run out, the game is over. Most victory points win.Very easy to teach, I think no more than 3 minutes and picked up right away.I only had to rule check once or twice as I was unsure about what happens when there are no pieces available of that colour but you're meant to get a reward. It became an instant hit for us and everyone LOVES this game.My little girl, who is still too young to play the game, enjoys filling in the puzzles herself as a free play sort of thing so this doubles as a great way for her develop her skills too.Overall a fantastic game, great for kids, adults and anyone really who enjoys puzzles.

Perfect Game for the Uninitiated
I think this is the perfect gateway game for those uninitiated to the world of board games. It’s fairly straightforward and only gets better as you add more players. There are various extensions / addons you can get that change the game mechanics up a little. Nevertheless the base game is amazing as is. Highly recommended!

Good mix of strategy and ease of play
Easy to learn, plays in about an hour, quality pieces with heavy cardboard tiles and quality plastic shapes. I've taught this to friends a couple of times and it really is good with simple to understand rules, you can teach it in 5-10 mins...

Tactile and Clever game
Bought a copy of this game after playing with friends, as I know it fits the family gaming afternoons well, in that easy to learn harder to master category. Bet way to describe it is competitive Tetris with players taking boards with a Tetris style puzzle shape on it and using their own smaller shapes to complete puzzles to earn points and new plastic shapes.

A really fun game!
Me and my partner love playing this game. It's very different to standard board games. If you love tetris or any type of spacial awareness games, you'll love this!
