My 4th grader is reading this every morning to reinforce what she learned at VBS this year. Lil Los is so engaging and current. I highly recommend this for a youngster just starting out learning about their own relationship with Jesus.

My son received a copy of this devotional at summer camp, and we've been working through it ever since (I know, it's October, so we missed a few days, OK?). Both my 2nd and 5th grade boys love it. The lessons are bite-sized, the bible stories are thoughtfully developed and age appropriate, and Carlos uses modern references (pretty sure he mentions Pokémon and Ted Lasso). My kids are strengthening the lessons learned at church and camp, while also laughing along the way.
