One of the very few most satisfying stand-alone reverse harem reads
First point; yay for the sisterhood! I freaking love girlfriends and I don't see much of them from most reverse harem reads. Nicole and Dakota are both funny and awesome friends. I'm not sure if this will be a series of standalone books but if it indeed is, both women deserve their harems, too!Second point; this one is an amazing diversity of interesting genres. Romance, comedy, fantasy, paranormal...man, the author plays well with her choices. Though I may be saying this in such a light way, I assure you all that as a first read from her, I am in awe of her creativity. I have laughed out, I have felt frustration, sadness, thrill...I have fallen in love. How can such a standalone contain this much? /mindblownThird point; in correlation to the genre, the writing and pacing and world-building is impressive, too!!! My interest is steady throughout the whole ride.Fourth point; the heroine. The only thing I have in common with her is the fact that we both can't last a day without using the internet lmao. I am at least sympathetic to her at that point. But with that said, I am still frustrated with her the first time. Hear me out. The very little free time I have, I often waste dilly-dallying on the internet. But, I'm not really big on the whole post everything/every pic I have thingy for everyone to nitpick or whatsoever. And Edie absolutely has got it bad.Plus, my home's from an archipelago ish country so all those island stuffs feels familiar and dear to me. So if I have been on the heroine's shoes...there will be no story at all (i.e. exposition, rising action, climax, falling action) because it will be...bam happy ending! Gets? LMAO.Thus, her difference and her reluctance from the start kind of built the plot. And in the end, she has won me over. She's courageous to decide to tell her friends the truth. Also, with all her talk about peeing, I rather find her brave to fight for her guys.Fifth point; THAT SATISFACTION. I love the fact that the author is generous to include a slice of that post happy-ever-after chapter. Reverse harem and family and babies? Just how cute is that?!?!Edited to add my sixth point; when Edie has brought some of her guys to DC. I applaud that great and practical thinking. She wants to experience mundane stuffs with the guys to finally determine if they will still all tolerate one another at the end of the day. She knows that she might be just riding high on the island's magic. I love an intellectual.

3.5 Pretty Good Stars
I enjoyed reading this book, it was fun. However, there wasn’t much drama or suspense or action, the relationships felt kinda weak. The sexy times were underwhelming. The demons didn’t feel very ‘demony’ either. But regardless of all the negatives, it was an enjoyable story, even if it was all fluff.

Insta-love, vague content
I’ve read Lidiya Foxglove’s renditions of fairy tales and after reading this book, it seems like insta-love and lack of deep content is in all her books. The idea of the story (and all others) is great and I honestly like them. Just don’t expect too much out of her current writing style. I go back to read one of her books once in a while just to see if she improved because I do have high hopes for her, I want her to be successful, and I want to support her books. Even though I’m left disappointed, I have faith.I like the chemistry of all the characters and how each man has their own personality. There’s little spelling and grammar errors. I like how Dante, Van, and Alister got their individual time with Edie and how they shared her.Edie is basically all of us - social media addicted and excessively uses “like” - and her friends encourage her to take a vacation based on a brochure that was mysteriously sent to her. When she arrives, she meets the 3 men and has some withdrawals of not being able to use her electronics, but she does make an effort to be active by touring the island and waters with Van and taking a “cooking class” from Dante. The chemistry is instantly there amongst all of them and the men try to explain their true selves and lifestyle a little at a time.*some spoiler ahead*I couldn’t figure out where the climax was. Maybe it was when one of her friends got possessed by a witch and tried to stop her bonding with the men? The situation just appeared and disappeared, so it wasn’t much. The tone of the story was a little bland and felt like most of the scenes (the appearance of the large “snakes” and visiting her friends) just happened to be there. The epilogue wasn’t much, only showing Edie’s baby and her friends come visit.*end spoiler*

Absolutely adorable and relatable
Edie is an internet-a-holic (I can relate with that!) who decides it's time to get her life back....And boy did she!I absolutely loved Van and Dante; Alister was kind of the weak link for me but we all have our types. This was a great, quick read, whirlwind romance; a completely perfect way to indulge.

Fun Book
I did enjoy this book. I found it a little slow in the beginning but once it got going it was engaging. I got a bit annoyed at the generalisation of modern females and their reliance on social media but this a book and not real life. The characters were interesting and I hope Lidiya Foxglove continues the story with the other characters.

Great standalone book
Loved this book right from the start! Very easy to get in to and hard to put down!Edie is addicted to social media and has always had boyfriends who are self centred in the past, but a leaflet through the door changes all that. Van, Dante and Alistair are the perfect guys for her and their story is one I really enjoyed.Another fantastic novel by Lidiya Foxglove, cant wait to read more from her!

Hot and lots of fun.
This is relatable urban fantasy of the best kind with hot guys and a touch a magic. Nicely wrapped up as a standalone

Okay
This one was okay. It was readable although I did skip some pages. I will read the next one as I've liked what I've read about it so far.

Fun stand alone read
This was an enjoyable read, made better by the fact that it was a good length and a stand-alone novel with no cliffhanger ending. The world building was well done - I loved the concept of different realms, how the demons came to exist, the different take on good versus evil, and how technology weakens magic. The characters were well developed, and I loved that we got to know each of the guys so well despite the majority of the book being from Edie's perspective (an occasional POV from one of the guys can be found throughout). At first Edie annoyed me with how shallow and fickle she was - so embedded in social media, being liked but not liking criticism that comes with exposing yourself to the wider world either. Sadly I came to realise this is representative of many of today's younger generations, and was actually an alarming insight into those thought processes and need to be liked by random strangers and followers. The storyline flowed well for the most part - some of the interactions with Edie were a little stilted at times, her language not as modern as it could have been (I'm guessing the author got into the mindset of the demons and their almost Victorian era language and that flowed over to Edie's character as well).I did find the ending a little rushed, and there were a few plot holes that appeared - such as how Nicole got to the island, and how the witch got a hold of her in the first place. The epilogue was good though, and if the author decided to write a follow on about Edie's time on the island now that they're more settled, I would definitely be interested in reading it.
