Be wary of the seller from UK.
They didn’t register the product with the manufacturer making the warranty for repairs unavailable. Stuck with a $200 piece of crap.

I'm finding the Wides COM-DEX adapter a rather useful extension to my iPhone
I'm finding the Wides COM-DEX adapter a rather useful extension to my iPhone. No more headsets for podcasts, lectures or music. Cellphone calls are crystal clear and easier to answer. Navigation directions using the COM-DEX have the problem of loosing the first half second but again, a distinct improve over directions from the cellphone by itself.I do have two problems with the product. First the COM-DEX does not connect with my iPad. This is a big drawback. Second the stability of the application leaves much to be desired.Otherwise I am rather delighted with the product and can recommend it to others.

GREAT add-on for Widex hearing aids!
I bought one of these through my audiologist to replace an M-DEX, which I had bought, lost, and later found again wrapped around a shirt collar. I'm glad I lost the M-DEX, since I hated that and I love the COM-DEX. This device does exactly what it's supposed to do, and does it well. I did have a little trouble keeping it connected to the Bluetooth on my Samsung S5, but I updated to an S7 Edge and have not lost connection once in weeks of use.The main thing I use it for is listening to audiobooks on my phone. Once I start the audiobook, using Audible's phone app, I can lock the phone and listen with very little power drain, then pause the app from the front button on the device, and then restart it from the still-locked but wakened phone. If I get a call, it temporarily stops the book from playing (or, I assume, music from playing or streaming), and then once the call is done, it backs up a few seconds on the book and restarts it.There is also a room off button that I use a lot.The M-DEX has a number of functions built in that are not included within the box of the COM-DEX, but most of them are available with the COM-DEX through a phone app. It's not a completely well-designed app, but it works.
