Crescent 3/8" Drive 72 Tooth Quick Release Flex Head Teardrop Ratchet 11-1/4" - CRW10

I purchased this ratchet to help with oil changes, and right out of the box, it feels solid, with a smooth finish and a nice weight in the hand. The standout feature for me is the swiveling teardrop head. It makes working in tight or awkward spaces a whole lot easier, especially when a straight ratchet just won’t fit. The handle is also a bit longer than average, which gives you extra leverage for breaking loose stubborn bolts and nuts without feeling flimsy. The ratcheting action is smooth, there is no slop in the mechanism, and overall it just feels like a tool that will last. For the price, this is honestly one of the better ratchets I’ve come across. Strong, well-made, and practical.

This is a great ratchet, even with the complaints, it is made in Taiwan rather than China which is a plus in my opinion, the finish on the ratchet is very good, and the price is the best that I have seen and it looks much better than the Craftsman ratchet, it has a nice long handle so you can break loose exceptionally tight bolts and nuts, it also has a nice swiveling head that allow you to use when a regular ratchet won't fit.

works great and makes oil changes easier

This is a really nice Ratchet and feel good in the hand. I do however have a couple issues with it, 1- the swivel head on it has a little slack in it that can not be adjusted out. 2- it is a reverse lever compared to all other major brand of ratchets which is more of a problem to me than the slack in the head portion of it. When you are accustomed to the lever being in the left position, that means you are tightening it, and when it's in the right, you are loosening it but with this it is opposite which will take some adjustment when you are working steady. Other than these two things the ratchet seems like a good value for the money

As a professional diesel mechanic of 35 years I know a good ratchet. Very happy with this.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Great socket wrench addition. Really makes hard to reach spaces not so hard. Build quality is good and ratcheting works well. Keep in mind this is not a thin head it is as thick or thicker than a normal socket wrench. Design: was looking for an adjustable head wrench

good value when on sale. swivel heady is handy in tight areas. feels well built but time will tell how it will hold over time.
