Excellent read!
I have known about the Green River Killer case for a number of years and have seen Dave Reichert and other investigators talk about the case on crime documentaries. Reading Reichert's account of the case gave me more insight into the humanity of investigators of very heinous crimes. I really appreciated this book and recommend it to anyone who follows true crime.

So glad you caught him!
I cant imagine the sheer exhileration Dave Reichert felt when the DNA match came back, twenty years is a long time & he documents it well in this book. There is no one hero in the hunt for Ridgway, praise is given to all who earned it ( & a few digs at those who hindered or pulled resources). This book is the story of the hunt for the Green River Killer, an honest book about the highs & lows of a long journey to find an exceptional killer whose disguise was his 'ordinariness'.Reichert's tenacity & integrity, show the character of the man & the resilience which kept him on track even when most felt the case would remain unsolved.A pleasure to read.

Eye opening reading
This book was really an eye opening read. It depicts the trauma all the people involved experienced. I must commend the sheriff for not giving up in his quest to catch this guy and also his attention to detail in the book. It is mind blowing that people like that exist in our modern day lives.
