I wanted a shelf for my desk. I chose this one because I liked having the space for folders/books on each end. The shelf did not disappoint in any way. It does just what I wanted - gets some small items up off of my desk so I can use the space underneath for piled up papers and what have you.I thought the drawer was a nice feature, but it wasn't really a factor in my decision to buy this shelf, and I'm glad about that because I would have been disappointed if I was expecting a "drawer". It's not a drawer, it's more like a basket that hangs on rails. What's nice is that you can move it the length of the shelf. It falls very easily, you have to be incredibly careful with it to use it as a drawer and I just don't have time for that, so I just use it as a little tray. I put my favourite pens in it, and some mints and then when I go home at night I just "dock" it back on the rails.All in all, I'm pleased that I bought it, pleased that it works the way I thought it would and happy to have some more workspace.

This product is fantastic! I just moved recently and found that my dresser was very cluttered and an eyesore. I had been thinking about purchasing something to help with organizing my dresser top, but hadn't found anything that I thought would look alright. Most of the people who have bought this seem to be using it on a desk, but in my opinion, it works just as well on a dresser! I love how it looks; it organizes my dresser so well and gives it such a nice feel. Looking at my dresser now, I don't feel overwhelmed and overstimulated. It makes my room feel so much more peaceful.The reason I'm only giving it 4 out of 5 stars is because the little bookends on either side are a bit flimsy. I feel like they kind of slant outwards a little, and they don't seem super sturdy, but I think they'll do fine.I love the little drawer-so handy and cute, and it's amazing that it moves back and forth! A lot of people were complaining that it's annoying that it can slide all the way out, but I actually like that feature because I fit my headbands in there, and since it can slide all the way out, I can organize them better.All in all, amazing product, I love it, and will be using it again! Bet you didn't know it would look so nice on a dresser!

First off, I have to say I'm happy with the product. Both in it's versatility and it's looks. With that being said there are a couple of cons.First it's a little wobbly. It really needs a bar in the back to make it sturdier, but it's not a deal breaker.Second, the little drawer is really neat as it can slide side to side. Useful as you can slide it to where you need it. Too bad the drawer doesn't have a back stop so it just slides straight out and falls off the rails super easily. Used a suggestion in the comments to McGyver it with a couple of paperclips so it can no longer slide out.

I purchased this shelf to act as a hutch for my computer desk. I was looking for something relatively sturdy, that had organization areas and didn't look so atrociously ugly that I would have to hide it away, or throw it out the window, when I got tired of having to look at it. This shelf fulfills those needs well enough. I have my computer monitor on it, so I can still see what I am doing when my kitty perches right in front of my field of vision. It also has a small drawer on it that I use for pens and permanent markers, as well as small cubbies for filing papers. My speakers fit perfectly underneath the shelf so, everything is well contained. I have a pretty small computer desk and finding something that would fulfill my needs without offending my eyes with its monstrosity was not as easy as one might envision. I do wish it matched my wooden desk better, but this black mesh is a better alternative than trying to find a wooden hutch that more than likely would not match the stain on my desk. I would like to say that now my desk is completely clean and organized thanks to this shelf, but that would be a lie. It does its job well enough, the actual organizing is up to me.

I bought this for my "desk" at work (which is really a folding table). I'm super tall and my chair doesn't adjust low enough to put the monitor at a comfortable level where I don't have to hunch down. This causes back pain and general crankiness on my part. This shelf did the trick. I can now sit up, comfortably.The drawer is a waste of space. It falls out whenever you open it. There is no way of preventing that. I thought, at first, I might have assembled it wrong, but no, it's just a bad design. The file holders on the ends are kind of handy.Overall, assembly was easy. No tools required. It's nice having a little extra storage space under the monitor. The unit is made of a metal mesh. It doesn't weigh much.I think it raises the monitor up about 8" from the desk top. Some of my shorter co-workers sat at my desk and said it was too high for them. I'm 5'11" and it is perfect for me.

I'm using this shelf as a monitor stand. it holds up my 21" monitor quite well. I also did a jiggle test with the monitor, and shelf and you'd have to hit it pretty hard to knock the monitor off. Even with the monitor on the shelf there is still some room for storage, but not much I have my slim speakers taking up the extra room.I use the left notepad holder to store my gaming headphones (Razer Kraken), and the right one for its intended purpose.The basket is not stationary, it's on a rail and moves from left to right. You might not like this feature but I love it. also if you hate the basket it can be removed by removing one of the legs and sliding it off so there you go. It does store a bunch of pens, and pencilsits really easy to assemble, just four parts. no tools required just snap the parts in the proper place. Putting the legs on requires a little strength but not too much.Overall this shelf is outstanding. Get it out-"stand"-ing, cause i'm using it as a monitor stand...

Llegó en buen estado, es práctico y resistente a pesar de que su material no se ve muy fuerte, ayuda mucho para organizar el escritorio, yo lo uso con un monitor encima de él y lo ha resistido muy bien.

Simple to assemble. I would not recommend placing very heavy objects on it, as it will be a bit wobbly under a lot of weight. Usual desktop articles should be fine.
