Xavier: Vigilance, Book 4

What a great ending to an amazing series. Like the other books it was filled with a background story dealing with the sex trafficking ring and all the threads from the other stories came together here and we finally got to know much more about the man behind Vigilance, X and his trusted hacker Emilio. Xavier and Emilio were perfection together, their chemistry was scorching hot and they complimented eachother so well. I also really enjoyed X’s bi-awakening, it came on early and fairly strong upon meeting Emilio, and I enjoyed his inner dialogue of coming to terms with it yet still trying to almost fight it due to wanting to keep Emilio safe. I also loved how Emilio knew even having knowledge he shouldn’t have had about X that he could trust him and felt safe with him. The introduction of Lancelot and The Theriots was also great, as I’ve also read two of the books from that series. My only complaint with this book is that it ended too soon for me, and with it means the end of this immediate world. I do love that that we finally got a classic HEA with Emilio and Xavier, they both certainly deserved it. Hail to Silvia Violet on a fantastic ending to an equally fantastic series

Xavier is the owner of Vigilance and Emilio is his computer hacker. When they come together on a mission for the first time Xavier is in way over his head. Emilio finds trouble when he hacks to deeply into the trafficking issues that they have been working on and he runs right to Xavier. From there it is a rollercoaster ride that leaves you breathless at time and rooting for the good guys always!

It’s here! *Cue happy dance* If you’re like me, you’ve been intrigued with who X is, and what his story may be since we first met him in Devil’s book within the Marchesi series. We finally get to know X’s story and holy hotness it was everything I hoped it would be! I loved being able to fill in all the why’s: who X is, why he is the way he is, and why Vigilance is so important to him. With all those why’s, we also get to learn that X is interested in a man for the first time. Cue all the advice (and some ribbing) from his teammates about falling for a man! That man being Emilio, the cyber intelligence of Vigilance. Emilio was so sweet and I loved him getting X to open up and face some hard realizations. I enjoyed the action we’ve come to expect from this series, and the seriously hot AF (first) sexy times! It was great getting to seeing the Marchesi’s and the rest of the team join in on the action. The setup for the next series the author has in planned for us has left me so intrigued!

Oh Xavier, I love your arrogance and it’s well-earned in more than one way (yum) but it was your unexpected romantic side that put you heads above the Vigilance crew. You are just full of scintillating secrets. Emilio is a lucky guy but then again you are too to have his love. I think their love story is my favorite in this series. A shy-but-confident hacker and a commanding ex-military leader who is so much extra, yes please and more.“A person does what they have to do to protect the ones they love.” I think this could be the Vigilance motto but I would never place a bet against Emilio or Xavier, when it comes to risking it all to protect their own. These two did everything possible to take care of and watch out for each other and I gotta say I wish I could be stranded on an island with them. It was non-stop excitement paired with a heat level of burn. Add in the ravenous love these two have, the deep friendship bonds between the team, some surprises and there’s no monkeying around. I am thrilled about the new series and can’t wait to learn more about Remy and his family.

All 4 books are AMAZING. Please read them and enjoy the laughter. In love with X and his team plus the return of the Marashesis throughout the series especially crazy Devil.

Xavier is the last book in the Vigilance series. Xavier was a good love story that showed the double life of a man who commanded a group of vigilantes that was trying to destroy human trafficking in Boston. The series started with the stalking of Xavier son Lane. Emilio was a hacker who was doing work for X and Vigilance. Emilio had never seen X face cause he was hiding his identity because he was a wealthy prominent figure in the Boston society. He was the CEO of a philanthropist foundation so he portrayed that persona among the wealthy. Emilio identify was compromised so he went to X for help. X had fallen for Emilio when they worked on some missions together in the field. He was afraid to act on them because he always thought he was straight. X took Emilio to his newly acquired island to draw out the remainder of the human trafficking group. Great story and worth reading!

I have thoroughly enjoyed each book in this series and this last one just really was the icing on the cake. Whilst very few would live a life like those depicted in the books, Silvia just makes it so believable. You feel like you are right beside them on their journey. Do yourself a favour and read the whole series. I read the Theriot series first but it appears on the timeline this series is first. It certainly doesn’t detract from the story though.

This book is simple too good. X and Emilio have a lot of chemistry and it was a delight witnessing the awkwardness, cuteness and protectiveness from both of them while falling for each other. I enjoyed the team appearances and how they banter and teases during the missions together. I also loved the introduction of the characters of a new series, another spin-off, surely as good as the original series and highly entertaining. I can't wait to discover what is planning Ms Violet for this world. WOW!!!

Started at book 4 .....but throughly enjoyed it ....will have to go back and read the first three ....how did I miss this series

This was well written and I enjoyed the story. X was such a strong character and Emilio was a good balance for him.

This is the fourth and last book in the Vigilance series and we finally get to find out who X is. This book is about Xavier - leader of the Vigilance group and Emilio - a lot younger computer hacker and how their relationship develops and finally wrap up the story arc started in the first book. Love how Xavier can be over protective of Emilio one minute and be puffy in his hands the next. Can't wait for the start of the new series set in New Orleans. Hoping the boys from this series and Marchesi pop in every so often.

I really enjoyed Xavier and I admit to being a wee bit sad that the Marchesi and Vigilance books have come to an end but happy that a new series about the Theriot family is on the horizon!! (I can't wait for Lancelot's story - he reminds me of Devil Marchesi.) Hopefully the Marchesi and Vigilance crew will pop in to give them a hand!!
