Purchased after buying 2 No’s and was OK. But the 3rd one is not good.

Minor damage on the transformer body and not working from the day-1. Checked the fuse already short circuited. Replaced again short circuited and not working!

Product quality is very cheap

This is the second LiteFuze step down transformer I've purchased since a competitor product had the polarities reversed on the 110V outlets. I tested all outlets on this transformer and they were 110V and 220V as designed and the polarities were correct. I have only tested this in 110V North America system but will be testing it soon on 220V system when I move overseas. Not expecting any issues. Product looks well built, does not make any noise when attached to a load, and does not seem to generate any heat. Even managed to test a 1500W kettle on this 1500W transformer without tripping its fuse (typically you should have a transformer rated 1.5 times higher than your expected load) although I don't plan on running that much power through it longer term. Good product!

Bad quality - bad customer service - do not buy !!

The transformer is an automatic voltage step up transformer as well, a fact not clearly highlighted by either the manufacturer or amazon. The manual that came with it is barely a single page of printed material and is not even specific to this product. When plugged in to 110V it automatically up-scales the voltage to 220V and vice-versa. So far so good, but the issue comes when the unit is used in a country with 220V supply. When the unit is switched off, the red light (indicating 220V output) turns on for 1-2 secs, before turning off again, which should never happen as the unit is not supposed to output 220V. The odd behavior can be explained by the following: When the transformer is turned off, the input voltage drops from 220V to 110V and then eventually to 0V. At 110V, the step-up circuit activates itself, causing the 220V output for a few seconds, which is enough to blow any 110V appliances connected to it. I would refrain using this transformer in a country with 220V supply. I must highlight that the manufacturer did not bother to respond to any emails but I'm glad Amazon agreed to refund me the entire cost of this worthless product.

Super produit du vous avez des grosses puissances a convertir. Cela m'a permis de ramener un peu de matériel d'Europe. Facile a utiliser, par contre attention c'est lourd 😊
