I wish I had found this visor decades ago. What I love the most is that I can use it as a face shield when the sun rays are hitting horizontally. Love that the first sleeve that has the one white plastic snap is reusable and you can put it back on to protect the screen when not wearing the visor. I think some people thought that the metal hinge pins on the sides were snaps and tried to unsnap the visor from the headband or tried to tear off the 2nd/clear protective plastic sleeve instead of cutting it using scissors (see pic) and that’s how they broke the plastic hinge. I cut the second sleeve and had no problem at all. Even if in worst case scenario this visor lasts me only a couple of years due to wear & tear, I would totally buy this product again as it provides me the sun protection my face needs. Now, if you want 100% sun protection, you’d need to cover your head with a cardboard box when going out in daytime and good luck walking or driving with such box on.

When the product arrived, the hat was damaged. I reported the issue to the seller and asked them for a refund. they insisted that the product was in a good condition and the buckle could be resembled back, even though I told them it couldn't. They wanted to offer me $5 to fix it myself. the whole communication went back and forth for almost a whole week before we finally agreed to refund 100% of the purchase value. not very happy with the way they handle things here. I also heard from other reviewers that it cannot block UV ray, i haven't tested myself though.

Even though the headband is adjustable, it is still too big for my head. The shield position is a bit hard to be adjusted. I have been using it for the whole summer, the coating is still ok without any scratch.

I've had a few face/sun visors, as I take sun protection seriously. I am prone to sunburn and hyperpigmentation and wear sunscreen all seasons. I like the design of this visor as it slips on easily and does not slip off. I've had others where the strap/headband would stretch out or break if stretched too wide. I believe the visor has polar coating as I can see a difference similar to wearing polar sunglasses against glare and water. Perfect for post-laser skincare treatments and driving during sunsets. I like the mirror effect so others can't see you. Sure, they can judge you for "looking weird" in public but at least they don't know what you look like. =P
