Definitely will buy again!
I loved these! For the price you pay at the big box stores for paint brushes it’s insane. These worked so great at getting into weird and awkward crown molding , fireplace mantle, and baseboards! Didn’t leave a bunch of brush hairs, easy to clean , grip was nice and comfortable and was durable !!! I do wish they made these type of brushes in a short handle. It was a little longer than I prefer but would buy again

Amazing
The Bates Trim Brush is an excellent go-to for both professional painters and DIYers looking for a reliable, budget-friendly brush that delivers clean lines and smooth finishes.Pros:• Great for Precision Work: The angled sash and soft synthetic bristles make it perfect for cutting in around trim, baseboards, ceilings, and edges. It’s easy to get a sharp, clean line—even without painter’s tape.• Comfortable Grip: The handle is ergonomically designed and lightweight, making it easy to control even during long painting sessions.• No Bristle Shedding: Unlike some cheaper brushes, the Bates Trim Brush holds its shape and doesn’t shed bristles into your paint.• Affordable Yet Durable: Despite the low price, it performs like a premium brush. You can wash and reuse it several times with proper care.

Easy to Use for Beginners!
As other reviews state, this is the perfect brush for a beginner at trim painting. I knocked out my whole house with this brush in a week and it looks awesome! I didn’t experience bristle loss, it fit in my hand well, and it was pretty easy to use.

Love this brush but....
This is the most amazing little brush for trim work. It takes so much time out of painting. I've ordered 3 so far. My only issue is 2 of the brushes came apart from the handle. One after a little use and one before I had the chance to use it. Gluing it back somewhat works if you can get it back on where it's even with the handle. Still cane off after that with a little use.

I’m a believer now
I bought these with a degree of skepticism but since I had a great deal of trim I needed to paint. I thought the very reasonable price of these brushes was worth the experiment. Within minutes of using the brushes and getting a feel for how they applied the paint, it was obvious the brushes were very effective for detail trim painting and made the use of tape a choice an not a necessity. Personally, I rather go a bit slower & use a steady hand with a brush designed for trim work rather than expend the time, effort & expense of using painter’s tape. Very happy with these brushes.

Better than taping
I love this brush! It worked better than tape. I ended up using it to clean up where the paint went under the tape. I'm never taping again! I will use this brush to get a clean line and then cut in with another brush before rolling.

Get it!
I just painted a ton of baseboard with this brush and used zero tape. I was able to get into really tight nooks and crannies. My hand didn't hurt once. The balance of it felt right. The size was PERFECT for quarter round. If you're good enough, you can do one good accurate swipe and get the whole piece. The brush sort of locks in on the quarter round. You can't just blob it on there or else you'll push the paint to the edges and then it will drip on the floor. That's the same way as any other brush when doing baseboards. It holds a decent amount of paint, definitely enough to go about two to three feet (?) and finish it with a first and second or third pass if needed. It holds a lot of paint actually, but like I said, you don't want a glob of paint rolling down the baseboard.Awesome buy for the money. I'd buy a new one for every job if it was big enough. It cleaned well and looks like it did originally, so there is no need. We shall see how long it lasts. Seems like it will last just fine if you clean the brush and don't bend the bristles a lot when cleaning or brush too hard.
