It did what it needed to do and the light bulbs got changed.
Product worked well on BR40 light bulb (5") . Was able to put it together easily and attach it to a broom stick that we had laying around. Even though it has universal threading you will need to tighten the nut to hold the grabber in place; this will leave an indentation in the threading of the pole/stick you are using. Although the fingers didn't feel like they would have sufficient grip they did just fine.

Budget friendly and does the job.
This was a great option for the price. I used it for standard bulbs and had no issues.

Very good item and worked well for me. Just be gentle with the bulb remover so it doesn't break.
I have high slanted kitchen ceilings with 7 old style high hat lights . I was able to change bulbs with my 8 ft step ladder, except for the two highest one's that were burnt out. Too go any higher on my ladder would be dangerous. Soo, I purchased this item after reading a number of reviews and it worked great. However, I used a short three piece wood painters extension that screws together because of the ceiling slant, otherwise its too much of an angle to work properly. I did have to still go up the ladder though. The lower bulbs can be replaced with just a a regular painter extension pole or window washer pole. Once the arms are adjusted for the bulb size they slip over the burnt out bulb easily. Don't over tighten the new bulb though so you don't have future problems. Very good item, try it .

🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩 Hotdiggity what a gr8 gizmo!!!
I have living room HIGH hi-hats that bugged the crap out of me and this is the ONLY gizmo that removed the bulbs. Our builders (30 years ago, at least) installed outdoor flood bulbs which resisted every prior product/my effort to remove. VERY little room around the bulb to grab the bulb and IF I could get a modest grip, the device would unscrew at the tip of the extension rod ARRGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!THIS device replaced the old/installed the new and features:A metal locking nut which SECURELY HOLDS the head to the poleThin finger tips which easily get through very narrow spaces around the bulb faceGrippy rubber on the inside of the fingers which apply a LOT of torqueFully adjustable fingers which securely grip old, large incandescent floods as well as tiny LED spots"Stops" molded in near the finger tips which firmly seat the bulb face. For example, they prevented the bulb from dropping when I was having trouble hitting the socket in an eyeball (Imagine a flood in an eyeball fixture!!!!).An attractive 🙄 resin color found nowhere else on earth. Musta' been a sale on the stuff.NEVER leaves a mark on the wall if you need to rest it and find the Jack Daniels. The springythingy flexywobbly bulb extractor found in the cheap sets ALWAYS leaves a mark on the walls. ALWAYS.NEVER pushes the socket back out of the hi-hat like the other thing noted above.Made in the US!!!!!These hi-hats were SO high 🤬 that I was on top of an 8 foot ladder with the 10 foot extension, all wobbly 'n stuff. But once this gizmo got a half-decent grip on the flood, IT WAS COMING OUT, NO MATTER WHAT. It NEVER unscrewed which is a common problem with the springythingy flexywobbly bulb extractor found in the cheap sets.Absolutely the best, most useful bulb extractor I've bought.

BUY THIS ONE! It really grabs the bulb!!!
This unit is waaaaaay better than the spring circle grabber thing. You know what I am talking about, all the other ones. This works the way they should work. Slide the arms to the size you need and bingo!!! It grabs really tight. >Tip< If you have Edison style or similar that hang down from a cord, it is darn near impossible to grab them because of the slack in the wire. Use one of the mechanical grabber hands to hold the socket. Just figured that out. You are welcome :)
