I am by no means an electrician, but I replaced multiple old style fixtures with these new modern looking ones and everything went great. Install is very easy, fixture gives off plenty of light and it looks great. Wife is happy, i'm happy. I would recommend these lights to anyone. The only bit of advice I'd give to someone looking to buy this style is not to be afraid to buy slightly bigger fixtures than you think you will need. I purchased several 12" fixtures and several 10" fixtures. I put the 12" in bedrooms and bathrooms. The 10" were for hallways and entryways. What I found was that the 10" fixtures did not cast any more light than the old fixtures. Not a defect, 10" fixture performed to its specs, I was just hoping it would cast more light than the old ones. If I did this again, I would purchase all 12" fixtures. Keep in mind that if you are not like me (I love a LOT of light), and you discover that the 12" fixture is too bright, these fixtures are dimmable so all you need to do is purchase and install a dimmer switch and you can decrease the brightness. I just bought 4 of these lights to replace older ceiling and wall fixtures. They were very easy to install due in part to their light weight and in part to the fact they don't need backing insulation (they run very cool) that can get in the way. The light quality is as advertised: slightly softened white light and bright. The lens is plastic but visually the same as glass. Great price compared to other options and cosmetically looks as good. Also low or no maintenance since the LED's have such long life rating. Was shipped the same day as ordered.

I used these lights for my walk in closet. I also put them on dimmers. They’re very bright and gives good light and the dimmers make it great if you want ambience. Like almost everything nowadays seems to be made out of plastic yet they look very nice. I did have them installed as I do not like anything to do with electricity aside from turning it on and off but the gentleman that installed it said they were extremely easy and light weight.

Looks great was easy to install. Light was bright and works as advertised.

This is an amazing light fixture. It is lightweight but attractive, easy to install in a standard octagonal ceiling mounted box and puts out an abundance of light. I installed this fixture in a home office with the only light coming from a ceiling fan that used two candelabra bulbs. This light mounted over the desk puts out several times the light of the ceiling fan light. As long as the light has a good longevity, I will be very pleased as the entire unit must be replaced if the leds fail. My only suggestion to the manufacturer would be to move the wires where they do not penetrate the base plate so close to the edge of the ceiling mounted box. You have to be careful not to scrape the wires on the edge of the box when installing it.

My husband and I were very impressed with the light and the output it gives. We replaced a pendant light in the dining room with this LED light since we got rid of the table we never used and needed a light we didn’t walk into all the time. This fit perfectly and is very stylish. Plus the price is awesome, we found one very similar/almost exact at the hardware store and the price on Amazon was so much better and literally just about the same light, except not as big as the store one which is what we wanted. Store had a 16” and this one at the 12” was perfect for the smaller space we have.

Amazing! I needed a motion sensing ceiling light that has a low enough profile so as to not obstruct the basement door when opened. This fit just fine. But the light is really amazing. It senses motion through the door so the light is on before the door is even opened. I was afraid it would go on when people walked above it upstairs, but that doesn't happen. Also, the light fades on, which looks really nice. It is quick, but it is a nice effect. Plenty bright for my area. And was very easy to install
