Ordered this set for my family and really glad I did. The images are bold and bright, and the paper is thick and reinforced with some sort of laminate. Much better than your typical posters, and for the price of some large regular, unlaminated posters, you get a set of five stunning and sturdy ones. Size is great for kid's room (or a classroom for that matter), arranged to you or your kids' preference. Great so far, and the only thing I'd wonder about is how long the corners of the laminate will last, but judging from first impressions, I think we'll get a decent amount of mileage out of these. If your kids like astronomy and earth science, they're a great choice.

these posters are gorgeous and great to use as teaching tools in my science classroom!

I got these posters as a fun way to decorate my apartment bathroom while looking for real art, and after putting them up I think I might leave them there. I'm already pretty into the solar system as an adult so I assumed the information wouldn't be new to me, but the posters contain enough detail to have quite a few tidbits I didn't already know. The most detailed exhibits are the ones covering black holes, the planets, and the earth's crust. There's just enough detail to keep you interested but not so much that it's distracting or busy-looking. In terms of look & feel, the posters have decent sturdiness, around posterboard level, and are glossy in front so they'll hold up to touching and/or splashes. I mounted them with clear hanging tape. For reference I am an adult female in the 25-34 range. I didn't buy these for a classroom but if I were to guess they would be appropriate for 3rd-4th grade.
