It's been almost three years and they're in great shape! I purchased a set of brushed nickel hooks in December 2016, and they are holding up well. We live in a damp, humid area and I was worried that these would rust quickly. To my surprise, they're great. The pictures show the hooks in the best and worst condition of the set after using this shower daily (2 adults) for almost three years.Care & Maintenance - I initially sprayed them with WD-40 when I first put them up. I also sprayed my shower curtain rod at the same time. I've reapplied WD-40 randomly maybe a few times over the years. We also use a squeegee and chamois to wipe down our shower stall after each use out of necessity, since it's so damp here. The lubricant and removing most of the moisture from the shower walls probably helps to keep these hooks in good condition.Usage - Upon first use, I thought the the balls were noisy as the curtain moved along the rod, but not a deal breaker. I haven't had any issues with fitting different curtain or liner grommets over the ball at the end of each hook as some others have mentioned.My experience with any metal or even stainless steel items at our house is that some amount of care is needed to keep them in good condition due to our humid climate. So I am totally satisfied with the condition of these hooks after years of daily use.

The Premium Quality Double-Hook Rolerball Shower Curtain Rings (set of 12) in Brushed nickel finish-rust-free/corrosion free received mixed reviews, but I tried them anyway. I loved the idea of double hooks so I wouldn't have to struggle to open the curtain rings and remove the liner and/or curtain for washing. The rings are easy to place on the rod, and they glide smoothly along the rod. My shower curtain and liner took only minutes to hang. I paid more than I usually choose to pay for the rings and the rod, but their quality makes them well worth the price. By the way, I am over 70 and have tried all kinds of shower curtain rings in my lifetime. These are the best so far!

These are visually quite nice but the main reason I bought these was because they were advertised as rust-free and I was tired of having to replace rusty hooks every month. Unfortunately, I've been using these for about a month and they are all rusted up. Am surprised based on the reviews; perhaps I just got a lemon...

2 lb depot's claim that their nickel plated shower curtain hooks would not corrode or rust is absolutely false. within a year of normal use ( 2 person household), they are spotty, blackened , tarnished with rough spots.

You know when you spend all day moving into a new place and you just want to take a shower before you climb into bed? The one thing that has to be unpacked and installed quickly, shower curtain. As a military family this has been a common situation and for the past decade move after move I have had to deal with the clip open and close rings and it takes so much longer than is necessary for zero design benefit. These solved that problem completely taking off my old annoying clip rings took FORVER compared to the literal minute and a half it took to put these up. The design of them is so genius, who knew you could be so impressed by shower curtain rings but I am. Not only are they super functional and easy to use by design but they look really great (I got the black) they also roll super smooth, not really something you notice until you change it then all of a sudden your super aware of how bad the last ones were. Overall 100% recommend, I will now be replacing all of my showers Curtain rings. A small price to pay for an awesome upgrade in looks and most importantly design.

This brand of item is the way to go, hooks are awesome! I debated over buying the cheaper version but glad I didn't. I'm learning from past mistakes of buying cheaper, thinking I was saving money. These are of a nice quality, strong, and the design is ingenious for those of us with limited hand strength/dexterity for taking shower curtain & liner off to wash. Hands down, it is the better deal! I just had my bathroom redone. I like a conservative look but, very stylish. These curtain hooks fit the bill, there were many sellers however in many cases you get what you pay for. I read the bios for this product although there were many hooks at a lower price I chose the 2 Lb. hook brand. Very glad I purchased the 2 hook style not the kind both shower liner & curtain are on the same hook that close. In most times the liner needs to be replaced but, the curtain stays so you have only one to remove. These hooks slide with ease and from what I have read they will last a long time. I am very pleased with this item. I would recommend this seller to one & all.

I bought these hooks as they were advertised as 100% stainless to replace another manufacturer's set which was forming rust inside the roller balls. I have only had them a couple of weeks so too early to determine if they will resist oxidizing.These hooks roll easy along the bar. The balanced double curtain mounting hooks accommodate orienting each hook in an alternating direction so they cannot jump off the rod in series. I have had no issue with the hooks jumping off the rod nor the curtains slipping off the hooks.The variety of finishes allowed me to match the bathroom accessories.The supplier, 2LB, shipped promptly and has emailed me twice to assure my satisfaction. So far, I am pleased with the product and service.
