HmiL-U Garden Hose Spray Nozzle - 10 Adjustable Patterns Metal High Pressure Hose Nozzle with Thumb Control Design, Hose Sprayer for Garden & Lawns Watering, Cleaning, Pets & Car Washing

I bought this because the stupid nozzle I bought from Costco ages ago had deteriorated until it was largely useless, and rather than do a warranty replacement for another lame nozzle, I wanted to take a chance and see what else life had to offer. This guy is pretty solid, and the 10 adjustable patterns are fun to play with, but in my opinion it's missing a couple fundamentally important features that I would imagine most people are looking for in a nozzle:- No true "Jet" pattern. I need something that just puts the stream out there and gives me some actual power. Nothing really like that on this nozzle, unfortunately.- Overall spray power. This nozzle really just felt like 10 different patterns of mist. I'm being a bit hyperbolic here, but not really. It's just weak, and really better suited for small gardens or something. I wouldn't use it on your lawn or anything because you'll be out there all day lol.All that aside, it's easy to hold. Switching patterns is easy as well, so you shouldn't have a lot of strain in doing so, and the nozzle itself does feel pretty durable. If you're not looking for power, this is a perfect choice.

This is the second one I've purchased, this one is a gift. These things have a great selection of spray patterns, good solid trigger mechanism, and they're large enough to be used by folks with arthritis (hands) for some time without cramping.

I really like the garden hose nozzle I got. I had previously purchased 2 different style and brands from Lowes and returned both. One didn't work properly and the other one leaked where you screwed it onto the hose. I was skeptical when I ordered this one since I had 2 bad experiences. I was pleasantly surprised when I received this one and it worked great with no leaking where it screwed onto the hose. Hopefully, it will continue to work well for me. I would recommend.

Second update! Dropped it from 2 to 1 star. 2 of my 3 nozzles have now rotted apart and failed at less than a year. Unacceptable no matter how well they work.I would not buy again.....Just another Made In China disappointment.<<<<<<<<< 1st Update>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> I will give it two stars because it does work well, if only for a limited time. Although the 3 I bought are all still working, (and they do work well), in less than 4 months they are all horribly corroded to the point I expect a total failure soon. Almost all of the shiny plating has peeled off. To look at them you would estimate age in years not weeks. I am assuming they are constructed of cheap pot metal. (think sacrificial zinc anode on a boat.) They will weld themselves to a metal hose end or adapter in a matter of a few days. I nearly ruined my fancy-shmancy Flexzilla hose trying to get one off that had been left on for a couple of weeks. The Flexzilla comes with heavy aluminum ends that have a hex for a wrench. It BARELY came of without rounding the nut on the hose. It would have simply been permanently attached to lesser hose. Maybe someday I'll find a nozzle that both works well and lasts for somewhere near a reasonable amount of time. It has all the usual patterns, but I especially appreciate the high flow rate in the full position. Many if not most nozzles are so restrictive they are just too slow to do a nice job washing vehicles, especially if you find yourself washing something large like an RV in the sun. The full position is sort of a medium power high flow jet. So far I am really happy. Unless some ugly trait pops up that I'm not yet aware of, I will probably buy a couple more.

Purchased this garden hose nozzle after the one we had started to leak. I’ve been using it for a few days and it far surpasses the previous one we had.It connects to the hose with ease and has a tight seal so no leaks. I love being able to switch between multiple sprayer functions. I use the jet function to clean off my porch because the force of the water is so strong. I use the center or shower function to water the plants in my yard - and I love that the spray has a far reach, so I don’t have to walk all over.I also love the mist function - I have quite a few plants that need high humidity, and this is a perfect way to give them that extra moisture. I told my fellow gardening friend she needs to switch to this nozzle ASAP!

Like so many other reviewers, I have been discouraged by at the inability to purchase a functional garden nozzle. You would think this would be simple. Hah.Now I have one that works exactly fulfilling my needs. First, it has a ball valve thumb lever for controlling the volume of water that does two things other ball valves do not: it shuts off by pushing forward, so when one pulls the nozzle along the ground with tho hose, if it catches on something it does NOT turn on. It also has a large hole in the rotating ball value. Unlike other ball valves I get the full volume of water out of the nozzle if I choose. The only other nozzle that has let that happen is the firehose type with the handle on top (that breaks off). Second, the choices of stream type are quite different from each other and all have utility for gardening.

Just received this awesome hose nozzle today. All settings are great and lots of water pressure. The thumb control for water flow is a really nice feature. I highly recommend this nozzle. Don’t let the low price mislead you. This nozzle is awesome and the quality is actually much better than other expensive nozzles I purchased and then returned as unsatisfactory.Great value and I would buy again.

Bought this to replace the cheap trigger-nozzles from Home Depot. Whenever you would throw the hose on the ground, it would hit the trigger, spraying you in the face, everytime. Wanted a design where that wouldn't happen, and these thumb-triggers are excellent. Works great - use them in a commercial setting. Comes with extra O-rings.

Got these last summer and although they work well, the ON/OFF valve is reversed!Makes me wonder if I get a pair of misfits? LOL!Took a few days to get used to but they work fine otherwise at a decent price point since no one locally sells the spray guns with the bar ON/OFF valve that I really think is a great design feature.

Tried using it the very first time. There is a very sharp metal wire that was untrimmed left out on near the handle. As I picked it up from the ground, the sharp metal went into my right palm, causing it to bleed. Pretty bad quality control in my opinion. I would post the picture if it didn't show that much blood.

I have had a string of plastic garden hose nozzles from the big box stores. Cheap. But also, cheap. This one said "metal" in the description and it does feel like it is made from metal (the body). Sturdy and substantial. It doesn't feel like it will stop working properly or crack if I drop it accidentally... it might, I just haven't crossed that bridge yet. So far, so good. Feels "real".
