Great for removing rust from bike chain
After a wet and muddy fall season, my bike chain was in rough shape—completely rusted and stiff from all the rain. I honestly thought I’d need to replace it. I gave this a try out of desperation more than anything, and I was surprised by how effective it was. It broke down the rust buildup quickly, and after a little scrubbing and wiping, the chain looked and felt a lot better.Even more impressive, my bike started running much smoother right after. The drivetrain noise quieted down, and pedaling felt less resistant. I’ve kept using it since, both as a degreaser and a lubricant, and it’s made my maintenance routine a lot easier. The bottle is small but lasts longer than expected if used right. Definitely glad I had this on hand before giving up on my chain entirely.Just don’t use it on your clean driveway or right in front of the house—this stuff can leave dark stains on concrete or walkways. I suggest putting something underneath the bike, like cardboard or an old towel, to protect the surface you’re working on.
