Deadwood: The Complete Series (DVD)

Great show. Very rough language, however, this was explained historically as typical in Deadwood.

Absolutely loved this series. Enjoyed all including the extras, one being the writer’s review of sets and actors, before Alzheimer’s limited his superb writing. Got the movie made 10 years after the series end which was the bow in a wonderful gift.

Had this set years ago. Decided to watch it all again! Great movie set!

as expected

Everything I have heard about this series is true. In the first episode they clearly used every curse word known to man, murders were common, whiskey was the drink of the day and whores were everywhere. Plainly put there was constant nudity and vulgarity. When there are no laws or police to enforce the law this is how human beings behave. This series is not for children, or people with strong religious convictions, the series can be hard to watch at times, much like the series 1883, and yet still I feel compelled to finish. The acting is great and they pull no punches, anything goes. Spoiler alert: Upon completion of the series I can tell you I was not impressed with the ending, I get the point but I keep asking myself why would anyone want to go through all the mental anguish and associated nightly dreams for such a non eventful ending? The rating should be XXX

A show like no other I've ever seen. Ian McShane, Powers Boothe, Tim Olyphant great in that order. I don't recall the names of the female actresses, but Calamity Jane and Trixie are 5 stars. Beware the movie has more curses in 10 minutes than I have heard, or made in my lifetime. Gerald Mac better here than in the later series, Longmire. I started to curse more furiously than any of the characters, when I discovered that while I had the complete series, it was sans finale. That means we don't get a f....... end to the show.

Very nice set. Great value because of the price. Great story line and actors.

Good quality

Movie little boring. Nothing is really happening there. No any action. But it's a good depicting of everyday life and people in a small Western town DEADWOOD in Montana, during a gold rush and building of America. Actors are a gem of the series. Their expressions are worthy every moment of attention. Natural language. Lots of swearing.

This series is the best, but be ready for some rough speech.
