I purchased this to provide additional security for an exposed window. It's now screwed in tight and is a great deterrent . Also, it looks great and doesn't interfere with the window functionality.

I bought this because my German Shepherd (Walter) is a barker and a jumper he’s not quite a year old we’re still in the process of training. Ironically we bought this because he was barking at the Amazon driver and he broke the inner window (no one was hurt the storm window is still ok) but after that I didn’t want to take any chances… he feels shame but that won’t stop him from losing his mind next time. I’m going to order the larger one to cover the larger window I just hate that it makes my house look like a jail. It is quite sturdy but the screws that come with it suck definitely want to use your own.

These feel secure and fit the windows well. The adjustable feature does it affect the sturdiness of the guards when extended at its max. The gaps between are the perfect distance for little ones not to squeeze through but also do not affect the view out the window much either. I do wish these had an option to be secured in the window without drilling into the trim though.
