Wide range of recipes
Good variety of recipesLovely book, many recipes that are completely delicious and simple. So many options from breakfast to snacks, side dishes, beef, poultry, vegetables, vegetarian and of course sweets and desserts! This book shows it is effective and very healthy, it comes with great ideas which are very practicable and explained in simple and plain manner. The book itself has the feel of a typed collection of tried and real recipes handed down. Seeing quick, easy recipes with a clean look is refreshing. I enjoy a cookbook that has recipes for everyone as someone who eats vegetarian and sometimes meat. The recipes I glanced at seemed fairly simple and easy, and several of them seemed very good.

No pictures. Very American
The only reason I gave this 2 stars are the photos on the cover and the dishes are mostly healthy.The American style recipes are not for me. I feel food in the U.K. has overtaken many countries in its creativity and inspiration. American recipes are comparatively limited in variety and some combinations just plain odd-‘ apple omelette’ for example.The measurements eg “1.5 cups of apple” etc drive me nuts. Just say ‘1 large apple’ or weigh stuff in grammes like the rest of the world.There was no indication that this was an American book before purchasing. No pictures throughout is just cheap and unappetising.A lot of the recipes are very basic. ‘Microwave scrambled eggs, berries and rocket, scallops with broccoli- really boring and uninspiring. I want a recipe book that whets the appetite! This looks like a punishment for someone who can’t cook.Returned it to Amazon

Healthy and easy receipes
I recently been struggling with my blood pressure as a result of eating high salt processed food (due to my hectic schedule). I was looking for an economical low sodium cookbook with easy to cook recipes. It includes nutritional analysis which provide the amount of calories, protein, carbs, fat, fiber, cholesterol, sodium and potassium for each recipe. So with this cookbook you won't run out of ideas for delicious things to cook anytime soon. There are no pictures in this book but the recipes are explained so well that a beginner could easily master a feast. I am really pleased with my purchase!

Excellent
I found the Dash diet book very organized and easier to follow through. It is arranged in the order for salads, soups, poultry, fish and seafood, vegetarian and others which is very easy to keep track of the kind of meal you are craving for and then look for a suitable recipe. This book can also be used by people w'ho are vegetarian and do not eat meat and its associated products. The book also contain a 21-day meal plan which helps you develop a plan of action.

A great book
This book is great. I often buy cook books and barely cook any of the recipes as they look too complicated but recipes from Dash Diet book are simple and easy to follow.

Easy to follow recipes!
I sometimes find it hard when trying to cook using healthy ingredients is that so many of them you don’t already have in your refrigerator or pantry. One of the many things I loved is that majority of what you cook with you already have it or it is readily available at your local grocery store.If you are new to DASH Diet, this book summarises the origins of the diet really well and so you are mentally prepared as to what to expect. It also has a table which details what to have in your pantry when following DASH Diet lifestyle.Recipes are structured in a logical order and do include wide variety of breakfast, salad, poultry, fish and seafood recipes, snacks and desserts. It also contains a section for vegetarian recipes if you are looking for those options. If you want to follow a strict diet plan, then this book also has a 21-day meal plan.The book also contains a well-made ingredient index and makes it very convenient to find a recipe.

Book was not proof read well
The page numbers in the index are off by 5.Some of the recipes have items in the ingredients but no mention of when to add.Poorly edited.

Very basic book with no pictures. Nutrition counts are useful.
There are some good recipes in this book. Typical smoothie recipes using same basic recipe n changing one fruit just to get a high recipe count. Pages very lazily formatted and are not pleasing to the eye. I'm diabetic so this is not as useful as I anticipated. The 21 day diet has just the name of the recipe without a referencing page number, so you have to look it up yourself. Disappointed in the lack of effort to make a better product
