I’m embarrassed to confess that I almost never write reviews even though I rely on them myself - especially years after the purchase. But every time I use this shaving cream, I feel like I should tell others how great it is. Why? Number one, it had no scent whatsoever. This is the main reason I bought the product and I’m very satisfied that it contains zero perfumes, unlike many other “unscented “ products. Also, it rinses completely off with no sticky or slimy residue. Next, it lasts a really long time I need to use only about a dime sized puddle in my palm. I bought it years ago and still haven’t run out. I only shave a couple times per week so you might not have the same result, but it seems like the seven ounce tube I bought is going to last forever. Lastly, it gives a great shave. I used to cut myself just about every shave and it almost never happens anymore, plus it leaves my face smooth with the closest shave ever - maybe because the ultra thin layer needed makes it easier to see and underneath. I don’t know, except I know for sure that I will never buy any other kind ever again. Do yourself a favor and give it a try.

Way too much has been made about the scent of the product. First off, it's a very mild and appealing scent, but it is not perfumed and does not retain any odor after using the product and rinsing it off. As for the product itself it is outstanding, providing a very emollient layer for shaving. As mentioned in other reviews, a little goes a long way so this stuff lasts a long time and is therefore very economical. Lastly, it's natural so no need to worry about unwanted chemicals, etc. I rarely write reviews but felt compelled to do so here as I cannot recommend this product enough.

Great stuff! The shaving cream is rich and thick. I mix it with Cremo shaving cream (equal parts) for a shave that is very comfortable and minimizes any irritation on the neck and around the throat. It leaves your face baby-butt smooth.

I shave my head, and I couldn’t find my old shaving cream in non-scented any longer, so I thought I’d try this. This shaving cream is amazing. It takes very little to work into a good lather, has no scent, and the razor just glides over my head and shaves very close. Great stuff!

I can't give this five stars ... yet, but I'm pretty sure that after a few more shaves, I probably will.This shave cream prepared my face and neck for a smooth, comforable shave, even though I was using a blade that had already been used a few times, and I was shaving a two day growth of beard.I only used a pea sized (or smaller) bit of the shave cream.After reading all the reviews, it seems obvious that most of the negative reviews came from users who didn't understand te product and expected a full, billowy lather like you get out of an aerosol can. They probably used way more than they needed in order to get this lather. This large amount may have clogged their blades, was difficult to rinse out of the blades, and produced a very strong scent. I can see how, operating on the assumption that it took a LOT of product to create a LOT of foam, the negative feedback was appropriate -- although the product was used incorrectlyThe goal of his cream, as I understand it, is to ceate the conditions necessary for a smooth, comforable shave. The goal wasn't to compete with Edge, Barbasol, Colgate or other aerosols that produce a lot of thick foam.I slapped warm water on my face to warm the skin and hair I put a small amount of shave cream in the palm of one hand, and spread it onto my face with the other hand. I put a litle water on my fingers and rubbed it in, producing a thin 'foamy' film. (Although I have a shaving brush, this didn't prodce a lot of laher for me). Once the cream was worked in, I shaved. The shave was smooth - possibly smooher than I got from other products. After shaving, the remaining product washed off, leaving no residual fragrance. THIS, I BELIEVE, was probably the right way to use this shave cream.So- after two shaves - I LIKE it. I may add more to this review after a few more shaves.---I've had this for a few months.I really like it.I started using more than a 'pea' sized bit of this shaving cream, and am able to get usable 'lather', just by speading it over my slightly warmed skin.The other day, after a week of no shaves, I used it again, not expecting great results. It spread well over my beard, created a nice lather, and the razor had no problems shaving my long whiskers off. Even with an old blade, the shave went very smoothly.I'll stay with this shaving cream - I'm not sure about the effects of caffeine on the quality of the shave, but the mint smell isn't overly strong and washes off, and the overall shaving experience with this shaving cream is good.

Love this formula, could be a bit cleaner! But good replacement for other brands! Foams up, smells good!

Awesome smooth shaving cream smells great also

This is a terrific product. When you use it, you'll find that your blades last longer because of how well this softens the beard making for a great shave. I read someone complain about it being messy — they are using far too much of the product. On the tube it says, "a little goes a long way," and that is exactly right. I'm always amazed at how little it takes. So don't use too much. I have a very heavy beard and I've found, over the years, that the shaving cream is just as important, if not more so, than the blades. Use this product. You'll love it.
