Absolutely Loved This Book!
After reading the very first paragraph, I knew I would love this book, and I did, all the way to the very last sentence.Tynan, Earl of Westcliff is the epitome of a hero, honourable, despite being a member of the Wicked Earls Club, generous, kind, extremely handsome, and honest. When the beautiful and outspoken young woman, Abigail Croft, comes into his life, he soon realises that his life will never be the same again, and without realising it, he becomes smitten with his 'little rabbit' when he saves her from a group of thugs whilst she is waiting on a street opposite his club, debating how she will go into the deadly opium den nearby to save her brother. This book is full of emotion, humour, passion and bravery, whilst being wonderfully engaging too.It is an extremely entertaining love story.Meara Platt never fails to bring her characters to life with their realistic behaviour and clever conversations.I heartily recommend this book.

Gladiator brought to his knees by his rabbit
When Tynan Brayden, the Earl of Westcliff, rescues Lady Abigail Croft from ruffians one dark night outside the Wicked Earls' Club, he never expects his carefree life to be upended by this girl with big, brandy-coloured eyes and a stubborn determination to save her brother Peter from his heroin addiction. He doesn't know why he feels the possessive need to help her. Lady Abigail Croft is at the end of her rope. The Earl of Westcliff's offer to help only complicates matters, for he is big as a gladiator and handsome as sin, and far too distracting.Oh I’m loving the Wicked Earl books, this is the second of the series & I’m totally hooked. The characters are very well portrayed & the pace of the story is good, so much so that I read it in an afternoon. A very engaging enjoyable book I look forward to more books about the Brayden siblings from the author & of course my weekly dose of the Wicked Earls

Charming romance
❤️❤️❤️❤️💋💋What a charmer , Tynan is a typical rake , loves the ladies and they love him .Meeting Abby totally upends his world .Abby has lost all her family except her brother , he’s not the man he use to be and his addiction to opium threatens not just his life but her world , enter Tynan , her knight in shining armour.A great book , with a touching and very sweet story , I loved the all the main players in this , The H and h were great , but so too were the others met before in The Braydens series also by Meara .The whole family are so believable , can’t wait for more books .“I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own

Best so far in the series
This is so much better than the first book in The Wicked Earls' Club series. Meara Platt is constrained by the setting provided to all the authors but she manages to produce a lovely romance without going overboard in describing the word 'Wicked'.

Another enjoyable light read from Meara Platt
This new book from Meara Platt is a fun read with likeable protagonists. It is similar in style to the entertaining series of Farthingales books.

Not so wicked, wicked Earl
This is a lovely Regency romance. Tynan Braden the Earl of Westcliffe see's himself as a wicked man who only has use for a woman for a night or two, not a lifelong commitment. This is until he meets Lady Abigail Croft. Her brother is suffering from an opium addiction and she is desperate to save him, the only family that she has left. The relationship that grows between Tynan and Abigail is quite sweet, he wants to help her and make her happy. Each minute that they spend together they grew closer and he starts to realise that his future is with her.Abigail is a good character, although I don't buy the idea of her not having been taught to dance. I'm not convinced that any lady of this era would not have been schooled in all of those arts that were essential for trapping a husband. It didn't detract from my overall enjoyment of the story though.I really enjoyed this book. It is part of a series where each book is written by a different author and is about an Earl who is a member of the wicked Earls club. This is also the second book about the Braden family, Tynan's cousin also features in this book having previously having had his own story A Match Made in Duty. I expect that there will be more books in for this family to come.
