Google told me I would need a more expensive AC powered setup, but as it turns out... this is exactly what I needed. I can't speak for every possible use case, but this worked for my particular use. I have a Casio CDP-100 that I wanted to get hooked up to my iphone 16 pro max. Worked perfect, didn't need to do ANYTHING extra to the dongle, it was just plug and play. There are other brands available but I opted to stick with iConnectivity because the internet seems to trust them and too many of these knockoff brands have problems with being easy plug and play. Be mindful of the length of the cable, you have some room to work with but you'll want to check how much length you need for your intended purpose. I can plug my phone in and set it on the music stand no problem. I haven't tried with a computer yet but I don't anticipate any problems. If it can connect to an iphone with ease I'm sure connecting it to a laptop would be just as simple. Would another adapter work? Maybe but I've heard that there are often compatibility problems or less robust features available on the cheaper ones. Super appreciative that this wasn't a headache and just worked like it said it would.
