Playbook for Global Success
Global Sales by Zach Selch is a timely new resource for companies large and small looking to successfully sell their products around the world. Zach is a certified great story teller, and draws on three decades of globetrotting sales experience to offer sound advice on navigating the complexity of international relationships with distributors and customers. At first glance, it might appear that his in-person approach may be passe in the era of the COVID-19 pandemic and the suddenly clipped wings of the international road warrior. But I disagree, as Zach's sage counsel on successfully dealing with all manner of partners from different cultures, languages and commercial environments is perhaps even more relevant in the remote interactions we are experiencing today. For the past 35 years, I have studied international trade and taught university courses on global marketing, and I highly recommend this book to both new and experienced exporters alike. The principles in Global Sales are an excellent guide to follow, plus an enjoyable read.

If there were a Yelp for Sales, Zach would get 5 stars there, too.
I've known Zach over 10 years and have enjoyed talking to him about the challenges and vicissitudes re: the sales cycle, sales organizations, negotiations, et al. He has almost daily content on LinkedIn that I look forward to bingeing whenever I spend time on the site. It's one of the few sources online where you can get the benefit of real world experience/learning vs just business school book smarts. In this book he takes his best stuff and makes it available to a wider audience all in one place.Looking forward to version two in 2021!

This is a quick and actionable read for building an international distribution channel
Zach Selch brings a lifetime of experience to the reader in an easy to read book that will make any manager better at their job. Building an international channel is not a small undertaking and there are several landmines you can avoid simply by reading this book. It is less a Sales 101 book and brings in the nuance of different cultures and marries that with your desired results.

Definitely recommend - even if not in sales
I’ve never before written a review here for a book on sales. It’s just not my thing. But Zach runs a soup kitchen, is a pillar in his community, and is an all-around inspiring human being. I would read anything he has to offer because we all could learn from this thoughtful man—about sales, of course, but also about life.

Zach's scars are written in blood, sweat and tears throughout this book
Zach, you did a fabulous job writing Global Sales. 30+ years in the trenches in 130+ countries generating $billions in new business has left an indelible mark on your, your customers and your partners. A genuinely treasure trove of practical, applicable insights from someone who has a wardrobe full of the t-shirts, a passport with more visas and stamps in it than most could collect in 5 lifetimes.I love the fact that the only way out of your network is in a box!

Practical advice to systematically sell in international markets
This is a book for export sales specialists and international managers. Don't read this if you're expecting an academic treatise on sales theory - it's designed to be practicalCovers the major aspects of selling into overseas markets - you just need to do the thinking as to how you need to apply them to whatever industry you're in.Written from a US American perspective so you may have different premises as a starting point or call stuff by different names. That doesn't change the validity of the ideas thoughShould be compulsory reading for anyone starting out in international sales
