We really got it because we want something to hang our swim suits on when we get out of the hot tub, but we are getting older and a hand rail will be good. It is well made with nice welds. The mounting flanges (inside the cover) have 5 screw holes available. Two are top and bottom and three are at 120 degree spacings. Most wall screws will only handle 50 to 85 pounds. Being able to use 5 screws gave us 425 pounds of strength on each end. we mounted through tiles. Having a 48 inch centers means on 16 inch or 24 inch centered studs the mounting flange can be right over the studs. (at least for the vertical holes) They include 6 #10 (?) screws. I had problems striping the Phillips caps on them. Be sure and pre-drill your holes at least 1/8" and lube the screws with dish soap. Our bar is rock solid!We have had this for two years no. No rust, still solid. Exactly what you want.

Help prevent slipping or falling while bathing in shower.

The quality of these seems just as good as any other grab bar. I only have one complaint. Any other grab bars mounting holes can fit a 1/4-20 bolt which I use with toggle bolts. This one is just a tad bit too small. Very inconvenient when you have to go and drill out every hole on every grab bar you install. For me that usually means drilling 36 holes larger through tough metal. I still think its worth saving a few dollars over though.

I recently purchased two of the grab bars. They are good quality brushed stainless steel and match the description in the ad. Now installed, they are a needed safety addition to my shower areas. I consider them to be of equal quality to other name-brand bars sold for much more.

I bought 2 of these from this company. One was 30 inches and it was okay. The 48" bar was not. The package had obviously been opened and there were no screws included. I had to go buy 4 stainless steel screws. The flange covers were not properly made. There are supposed to be dimples punched into the cover that engage notches in the mounting flanges to secure the cover in place. I had to use a ball peen hammer and punch to add my own dimples to keep the cover attached to the flanges. If this is the quality that these guys provide I would recommend the bars made by Moen.

All the components of the grab bar showed excellent construction, attention to detail and finishing. Using the Wingits mounting system, I find that the after-installation product was great.I would definitely recommend this grab bar to anyone wanting to install one.Brian Brill

The Winglts Grab bar has been a wonderful addition to our bathroom. It is mounted by the steps leading up to our tub. It was easy to install, it looks wonderful and the size makes holding on to it easy.

Purchased as a grab bar for a pull-down staircase. Well made and sturdy, comes with all hardware. Nice long shape and perfect for my application. Like the way the round end covers hide the hardware - looks seamless.
