Can i fix it without supervision

I haven't had this machine for very long but have had Singers for most of my life. You should be able to do minor repairs and adjustments from reading the manual and knowing the machine well but I would not advise trying anything major, especially anything to do with the wiring!

Singer have a manufacturers warranty of 2 years

Does it operate with the foot pedal?

Yes; it's electrically powered, operated with a foot pedal.

No when you take it in for service it will be oiled & greased in the correct areas
