Works great!
A lightning strike took out the power supply for my Liftmaster MyQ device, this is a great replacement.

Solid power adapter, but not recommended for Lenovo laptop
I purchased this to go with my Lenovo Ideapad 100S, being the cheapest matching power adapter I could find. It sort of works, but the connector is *just barely* too small or big to make a good connection and the tip has to be wiggled for it to charge. The charger doesn't get too hot when charging. The cords are annoyingly short for a laptop. If used for its intended purpose I'm sure it's fine. Probably not recommended for the Lenovo laptop unless you are inclined to modify your as I have.

Actually for Red Logo Overhub like it says it is
If you have an Elektron Overhub with the Red Logo, this is the adapter you are looking for. It has 5VDC, 4A, with 3.5 Jack, center positive. I use it as a USB hub for all six of my synths to transmit MIDI over USB and some units can also do audio over MIDI as well, but I don’t use that functionality yet. All the gear is controlled by a NI Machine mk3 via USB. This will power your Overhub so gear that needs power over USB work fine as well, like the Dreadbox Typhon. Your search is over. If you have a Overhub with a white logo. Your spec requirements for Amps will likely be different so do not buy this unit unless you confirm your requirements first.

Smells burnt and shuts off
Device smells like an electrical fire when plugged in. It does not appear to sustain 4a loads. When attached to charge battery it will shut off after a few minutes. Case has not been overly warm so I suspect poor regulation. It also has a very short cord. Don’t gamble on this one, it’s been exposed.

Five Stars
Nice product. Loving it.

Cheap
Cheaply made and I still get under voltage warning with raspberry pi 3b. Think the wires are too thin to deliver the rate current. Since it was inexpensive i will try to replace the wires

Works Well, Can Run Hot
It does what it's meant to do with no buzzing or whirring at full capacity. Does get hot if drawing 4 amps for longer than a minute.

Excellent product!
They don't show you this, but there's a fun little design on the other side of the box (sorry don't have a picture). On the flip side, it also has a blue indicator LED that doesn't really help me go to sleep at night, so I usually have it flipped over anyways. It works great for powering USB hubs.
