Amazing shiny black hardcover
It has this classic shiny black hardcover and is easy to take anywhere. Paper quality used is cheap but can use this Bible for decent amount of time. At this price range, this is the best Bible (according to me.)Usually Amazon delivers any item we order before time, it took the exact time as said it would be delivered. I have just recieved the order, so I yet have to go through it.In short, it is superb for handy and short term use. I'm a new convert and this is my first Bible. 😁

Too difficult to read because of the small font size
This is very compact size, although it mentions compact size in the description, but 'semi compact' in actual. It is good to see that both Old Testament and New Testament are included. It is very handy for personal reading and it is easy to carry around, specially while travelling.However there are some minus points as well. I live in Bengaluru and this is Published and printed in Bengaluru, and still delivery charges are Rs. 100/- which is too much. The font size is too small to read, especially the footnotes cannot be read without the aid a magnifying glass. The price is slightly high specially compared to NRSV and even standard size of ESV.

Excellent paper and binding but very small print
The paper quality and binding are excellent. But I am giving 4 stars and not 5 as the print is too small and difficult for senior citizens to read. I only wish the font was bigger and easier to see.

Good Book at a great price.
The book is well made and is cheaper that other hardcover editions. Small in size and very handy.

ニョーボにせがまれて購入しました。実は大型書店で本書を見かけ、買って欲しいとせがまれたのですが、Amazonの方が安かったため、Amazonで購入しました。書店で実物を見てから注文しましたので、内容や体裁は納得のうえでの購入です。因みに、書店で選んだ１０冊くらいの洋書のうち、Amazonの方が書店より大幅に安く、結果的にAmazonで購入したのは、この１冊だけでした。残りは、書店の方が安かったものが半分くらい。あとはAmazonでは見つからなかったもの、Amazonの方が少し安いけど配達が遅いので書店で買うことにしたもの、安価な本のため面倒でAmazon価格を調べなかったものが１～２冊ずつ。つまり、大部分は書店で購入しました。

携帯に良し、書き込みに良し
アメリカ人、メソジスト派の友人が持っていたので、当初の利点を聞いて、即購入した。1.ペーパーバックなんで、軽い！2.心置きなく書き込みがし易い＾＾の二点であった。実際に、使ってみると、使いやすい。薬本の正当性云々を論じ始めたらきりがないが、とりあえず使うのには良いと感じる＾＾

文献として時折読む程度なので、ペーパーバックで十分。思ったよりは紙質もよく、軽いので、持ち運びのときに便利。

Not well thought out
I purchased this as it is the only Anglicised version of the Bible I could find in an electronic version, apart from ones specifically adapted for Roman Catholics. I prefer larger size fonts than the average bible, but do not want to carry about a great tome weighing several kilograms.The people who prepared this e-book do not appear to have much idea of the requirements of Bible readers.The e-book is designed for someone who starts at the beginning and reads through to the end - the Bible is seldom read like that - it is a reference book, where ability to get to a particular place is required.Open it on any page, and all you get is text and verse numbers - there is no header to tell you what book of the Bible is being read, what chapter you are in (unless the chapter starts on that page), and again the book name is not available, so what book am I reading chapter 3 of?.Similarly to get to a particular chapter and verse you have to a) choose the book - you get taken to the front of the book, which has a list of chapters, and b) you then choose a chapter and c) you then have to go through it and find the verseSimilarly the footnotes are all separate at the back of the book, so you cannot see the footnotes at the same time as the test they relate to.It just makes using is as a replacement for a paper bible un-realistic. I shall sadly be reverting to my (American Englsih) e-bible, which has much better navigation, and remembers the passages you have recently read.There is a significant market for an Anglicised e-bible, but it needs to be prepared using Encyclopedia type software, to allow quick location of the required passage. Many people I know use computers/tablets to read the bible, becasue they want to be able to have the large print, and would prefer an Anglicised version, if it were available with decent navigation.
