I bought this for my 4 year old who has a hard time staying in his room at night. He doesn’t do well with a night light- just makes the room light enough to keep him up, and he gets scared if it’s too dark. He has bad dreams and always ends up in my room. He picked this out and he loves it. The projection is fairly clear and covers most of the room, without feeling super bright. There are a lot of color combinations, or even just white. And you can make it rotate or keep it stagnant. With all the options, he gets excited to lay down and pick which one he wants each night. He still ends up in my room a lot but the fear of his own room has gone away. And I like it so much sometimes I just want to hang in his room because it feels so calm and soothing ;) I was a bit hesitant because of other reviews reporting a grinding sound, but so far so good. We have used it every night (and usually leave it on during the day by accident) for a month and no issues.

This item has a variety of colors to choose from, or select them all. It's bright enough to light up the room, but not so much that it hinders sleep. It's the right amount of ambient lighting. You can select to see all shapes on the globe, or only certain ones. The globe can also be set to rotate. My 9 yr old grandson loves it and sets it every night at bedtime. It's the perfect gift for kiddos (or adults) who need a nightlight to sleep. You can't go wrong with it.

Mother and baby both love the soothing pattern and color choices. Turn it on to go to sleep at night. It has a wall plug so don't worry about running out of battery. I would give five stars but the dome is slightly fragile but no problems yet.

This light has improved the quality of my life, no exaggeration. It creates such a colorful & beautiful design on my walls and ceiling, it makes me feel so serene. I feel like I have the most beautiful room now and feel so comfortable in my space.

The lamp is so light and thought the quality would be poor. To me surprise the light rotates and it eliminates my son’a room so he’s not scared at night. You can clearly see the Star shapes too.

We’ve had this for one day & using it with batteries and it’s already giving out. Brightness doesn’t work, the spinning future doesn’t work anymore. The buttons don’t even work for what they are supposed to do

Don't be fooled, this thing doesn't project ANYTHING as advertised. However, I'm keeping it because my foster kitten seems to like it, since it doesn't leave her alone in complete darkness I guess...

Fun addition to the room. Makes a meaningful and calming nightlight.
