Bayer Synovi G-4 Soft Chews 120ct

My dogs love this joint supplement. I am glad my vet recommended it. I am using it for my 13 1/2 yr old Shepherd/Husky who has joint problems and also giving it to my nine year old Lab/Shepherd to keep her from having joint problems.I had been supplementing MSM separately, so having it in the supplement means I don't have to buy it and take that extra step which is nice. I also appreciate the addition of Boswellia, Turmeric, and Perna Canaliculus to the mix. That's top notch, imo. If you don't know what these three do, read up on the benefits.My only problem is the expense, and given the price of all supplements and products for pets it is not specifically this company's fault, rather an industry-wide problem. I have two large dogs and there is nothing cheap out there to keep them healthy or solve problems like joint pain. I am on a fixed income and have to choose between taking care of my dogs and buying food or other necessities for myself at times. I would like to see the cost come down on a lot of pet related items, not just pet supplements.This product gets 5 stars from me because it is that good. Thank you, Bayer.

First off, my dog(s) love these! They've noticeably helped my oldest dog with his joint pain and flexibility. Plus the flavoring makes it easier to hide his other medications. However, Bayer seems to have changed their recipe a little. The product I received before arrived in a plastic canister and was a lot softer and easier to put my dogs medicine in. These new chews arrive in a bag and are a lot dryer and crumble easily making it difficult to form around pills. That's really the only reason I gave it four stars instead of 5.

My dogs absolutely love these joint health "vitamins" and drool for them in their breakfasts every morning. I love them because they don't stink up the house, they have easy to open packaging and they shipped fast!

My vet recommended SynoviG4 soft chews a few years ago when my large dog developed some early arthritis. It's important to know that this is, essentially, a type of vitamin supplement and not a pain medication; with that, the appropriate "dose" (e.g. number of chews) has to be given every day to show improvement over time.That said, this has definitely helped my 80-pound dog move around more easily. He seems much more comfortable overall, and he absolutely loves these - he often sits in front of the kitchen counter where these are kept and begs for them!

This stuff has worked miracles for my elderly buddy. Used hobble around with severe limping and I would have to help him get up the stairs (which, at 96 pounds, this was no easy task). Very noticeable improvement within a week or two, and since then have been using this product for nearly a year. Only reason I doesn't get 5 stars is he does not like to eat it and I have to hide it in deli meat.

I think this is ok for minor pain. Was hoping it would work as well as the other one that I have to grind up to get my little dog to eat but they don't.

Our dog is young and has hip issues. She's been taking these for about 3-4 months now and we can truly see a difference in her and her activity level. She's picky when it comes to taking meds and has no issue with these.

We notice a difference with our German Shepherd right away. She thinks these are treats so the flavor must be good!
