These have lasted season after season. Well made, very comfortable stretch fit. Hold their shape. I have 5 now. No regrets. I throw them in the wash with my jeans.

Cute, flattering, good fit. These are quality shorts that should last a long time. I love that the leg openings are generous enough that they don't squeeze me, but are not going to show my goodies when I sit down. These are a modest length without being matronly. I am in my 60s and don't have any qualms about wearing them to grocery stores, doctors offices, lucheons, etc.

Democracy is my favorite jeans brand. They fit me very comfortably. I love the elastic waist band as it means I usually don't need a belt. The material feels high in quality.

Democracy jeans are just perfect. Do not size up! They are very true to size. They stay up because of the waist band and they are so comfortable! I have a few pairs of the jeans as well as the shorts.

I love the comfortable fit of these shorts especially on the waist. This is my 4th pair (first white pair). The white are a bit tighter in the waist than the others. The other colors I can take off without unbuttoning. But I can’t do that with these. However, they are not small enough to get a size larger. Hope that helps!

The shorts are cute. Shrunk noticeably after first wash, which is not customary of Democracy Jeans brand, but whatever. My issue isn’t with the fit, however with the INTENSE SMELL.These shorts arrived absolutely reeking of perfume/patchouli. I’m not talking about a minor scent here.. and I’m not talking about that weird smell that often accompanies dark-wash jeans for the first few washes.These shorts … it’s as if they sat marinating in an incense factory for a year before arriving on my doorstep.I’ve washed them 3 times, and they still smell SO intensely of heavy perfume that I had to throw them out. I had them sitting on the counter, and they smelled up the whole room and family started complaining inquiring as to who sprayed perfume all over the house. It’s ridiculous.I’m still a fan of Democracy. I think the stench much have been obtained at some point after production. Irritated with this bizarre experience and waste of time, money & clothing.

These fit me great and have completely worn my last pair out. Can’t be without them - true to size

I love the Democracy brand, and was excited to get a good pair of shorts. These fit around the butt and waist fine, but when i rolled up the cuffs (as shown in the photo for that style) they got more than a little snug around my thighs. I do know they stretch with time and wear, so it's not like I won't get used to them, but considering I ordered the same size I always have, it's a little frustrating. Still, good condition, good color and if they're like my other items, they'll last a good while.

I love the fit and colour of these shorts. They are figure fitting and very complimentary to the shape of my body. I ordered more Democracy shorts and now have a great summer wardrobe.

Cannot recommend enough. Super comfy, looks great
