Works as described! Use with a set of good mulching blades and your good to go. Fits Bad Boy mowers perfectly and easy to install. Only minor thing I have against it is the lever to open the side discharge is a little too long and can brush things if your not careful:P

The chute does not close tight against deck. Grass cuttings come through the small opening and all over the operator.

We installed this guard on our Bad Boy mower. The first time we mowed It blew grass all over the mower and us. The seat and mower were covered in grass, our eyes were full of grass and dust, it was awful. I thought the guard was install incorrectly so, I pulled it into the shop and tried to correct the openings and I only made the problem worse. We returned the guard and the company was great to help us with our refund but, we did have to pay $15.00 to ship it back despite the failure of the product. I would not recommend that anyone purchase this guard, for their mower, until the design is improved.

It was very easy to assemble and install. The problem is that if you want the chute to stay open you have to find the proper tightness of the bolts. If you follow the instructions it says to finger tighten certain bolts. Since the nuts on those bolts are nylon locking bolts. You don't get them very tight. The spring can not hold the chute open if the bolts are too loose. Then you end up spending more time pulling the lever to open the chute instead of mowing grass. Which on a zero turn you need both hands to go straight.
