I absolutely love these shoes! The platform is a decent height without being to tall. Very comfortable, the soles are a little slick easy to fix with a nail file. I want to get another pair as backup. Could not be happier.

I bought these shoes to do my laundry in. It sounds crazy, but I bought a new washing machine that turned out to be deeper than my previous machine. I am short, just under 5 feet, and reaching the bottom of the old machine was difficult enough. I contemplated a front loading washer, but based upon reviews of the machine decided to stick with a top loader with no agitator, not realizing how much bigger the machine was than my old one. I needed a few extra inches to reach the clothes at the bottom, especially small items such as socks and wash cloths.So I thought the cheapest and easiest way to accomplish this was by buying high, slip-on shoes. I thought about getting a stool, but the washer and dryer sit on a cement step (the house that came that way) and the small portion of cement that sticks out from the machines is not big enough to put a stool on, but is just big enough to fit my foot to stand on.Because I only wanted the shoes to do laundry, and planned to keep them in the laundry room, I wanted something cheap. These definitely fit the bill. I normally wear a size 6, but when I went to purchase, they didn't have a size 6 with Amazon Prime. I refuse to pay shipping since I am paying $99 a year for Amazon Prime and almost didn't buy the shoes. That's when I saw the size 6 1/2 in the same shoe was Amazon Prime eligible. I'm thinking, hey, a half size too big isn't going to matter just for doing laundry, right?I ended up glad it worked out like it did because the shoes run a little small and the 6 1/2s were perfect.These are about 3 1/2 inches, but with an almost even platform so it feels like you're walking in flats. I normally don't wear flip flop type of shoes because I have mobility and balance issues from a car crash some years back, but these stayed on my feet and weren't a problem. In fact, I like them so much they have become summer shoes, not just laundry shoes.I would recommend breaking them in if you're not used to wearing flip flops like me. I wore them for a few days for short periods of time because the toe strap can be a little harsh if you're not used to it, but after wearing them for short spurts, I can wear them for long periods of time and haven't gotten any blisters.Great shoes, especially for the prize, easy to walk in, comfortable, but just a little small.

These are good looking flip flops although not 100% stable to walk in. The height is good and comfortable for a long time. My foot bends from side to side occasional, so its always a cautious walk

True to size...I'm a size 7 with a wide foot and it fit perfectly...

They are comfortable to walk in and true to size for a 7.5. BUT the right strap is slightly larger than the left. I’m keeping them because I half expect the left to loosen slightly, maybe making them even over time. Took off one star for that. I’d have them send another pair if I wasn’t moving in 2 days and no way to have the new ones sent to the new address.Update after wearing, as others have complained, the strap is hard and made the top of my foot blister and bleed. I ended up gluing a crocheted piece on the underside and now they’re fine. Took off one more star for making my foot bleed.

5stars. Fits as expected. High quality for the price. No narrow heel. Soft material. No pinchg, no bruiseing, no cutting. Base is soft on feet, but very sturdy. Excellent for added height and comfort. Rich color.

Great price for a comfy, well made, good fitting, high platform thong sandal. That said, gonna have to give these 4 stars only because they are a bit unstable if you encounter an unexpectedly uneven surface. I have always had really good balance, but nearly sprained my ankle wearing these when I stepped out of the car one evening and into a sprinkler hole on the side of the driveway that was overgrown with grass (so you couldn't see it in low light at night). There was just enough 'give' in the sandal for my ankle to turn sideways, landing me on the ground, and the package I was holding went flying (nothing broke, nothing lost). Apart from that, these sandals are great. Very comfy, great fit, and the extra height is much appreciated by those of us needing it. I get many compliments when I wear them, and other height challenged women often stop me on the street to ask where I got them, how much they cost, are they comfortable, etc. I've tried a number of these high platform thong sandals (starting with my 1st pair of Rocket Dogs several years ago). This particular pair may be the most comfortable I've owned, and they have the advantage of coming in half sizes (I wear 6 1/2), so no guess work as to weather you need to size up or down. Just beware the risk of losing your balance with these high platform sandals if you happen on an unexpected uneven surface that you can't easily see (and I'm guessing most people would likely turn an ankle, stumble or fall in that scenario, so really not the fault of the sandal).
