Not quite as good as the factory version
Bought as a replacement for my VPI Scout belt. When it arrived, it's slight thinner than the factory original, so returned it.Seller was wonderful about taking it back and I had zero issues with the return.Not an upgrade from the real deal, but if your belt breaks and you want to save a few bucks then no issues with the functionality of the product at all. Works as described, but if you're picky about the quality of your belt (and who wouldn't be on an audiophile table) stick with the factory made replacement. But it's significantly cheaper here and works fine for most applications.

Not high quality and disappointing for an audiophile with high end expectations.
Belt does not keep my VPI ARIES SCOUT at a consistent 33.33rpm. I replaced this new belt with my original VPI belt and back to 33.3 +/- .03.

Waste of money. Buy the VPI replacement belt (UPDATE)
Thought I could save a few bucks on a belt for my VPI Scoutmaster. Mistake. Waste of money. Belt is of low quality and would never stabilize on the platter, which in turn created speed irregularities.I put my old VPI belt back on and everything was good.UPDATE: I decided to see if I could salvage the belt. I bought some sandpaper and spent about 15 minutes sanding down all the imperfections. And there were many. It actually works well. But I one should not have to spend the time and money to fix the product.P.S. The one positive is there is no belt squeak on startup. My TT is a Scoutmaster w/ acrylic platter.

works fine, stretches and doesnt last very long
Belt worked fine on my scoutmaster. after 9 months it was stretched enough that it slipped constantly and stopped working. original belts last me 3-4 years.

Good for the price
This belt costs half as much as the genuine VPI belt but doesn't last very long. After a few months I had to adjust the tension to keep the belt from squealing. After two years it was stretched out and needed replacement.I bought another one of these belts instead of the authentic VPI belt because the new VPI belts are also made of black nitrile. The clear silicon VPI belts that came with my Aries 1 lasted for many years. I only replaced the belt once in 20 years. These black belts only last a couple of years.Not sure if the genuine belts last longer but they're made of the same material so they probably don't.
