OTG emulation.
For Android usage this served perfectly for several emulstore including GBA. NES. SNES. GEN. It's very small but functional. It fits in my pocket perfectly and is great if you don't need all the bells whisltes And bulk.

Best for family gaming!
I hooked up 4, yes 4 of these to both a windows 10 tablet as well as a cheap lg k20 android phone and they worked great to play 4 player games! It did take some trial and error to get all 4 connected at once as gamepads but it isnt too hard to do. The problem isnt with the devices, but just the nature of Bluetooth. On android, I was able to set a unique name to each one. On Windows 10, I renamed two of the four and gave up trying on the other two because of known win 10 bluetooth issues. They still all work great in games.I have primarily been trying good 4 player mame games I can enjoy with my kids. 4 player gauntlet, simpsons, and eliminator to start with.Another bluetooth issue that cant be avoided is you can only pair with one device at a time, so if you want to use a controller on another device you will lose the original pairing until you pair it again. As long as I left them paired, I could use them again later with no issues and player 1 was still player 1, 2 was 2, etc.If I knew this was possible I would have done it years ago. Great for 4 people to play off one device.

Great on the go controller for Android
To start the controller is very very small. Please see my photo that gives a size comparison before making a buying decision. The size is great if you are on the go. I barely notice it in my pocket, and if I put it in my messenger bag it fits in a small pouch designed to hold pens. I have average sized hands for a male and have played hour long sessions without my hands cramping. I have never really used it longer than an hour at a time so you mileage may vary. With size being taken into account the controller is actually really good. It feels solid in your hand, connects easily to devices, and the battery lasts a very long time. The face buttons and d-pad are "pressy" as opposed to being "clicky". The shoulder buttons are "clicky". I primarily use this controller for emulation on my Android tablet and have found it to be very accurate. One note is that the controller I purchased (sold directly by Amazon) had red trim instead of blue like the listing photos. That didn't matter to me at all.

Very portable cool controller you can attach to your key chain
It's tiny, has good battery life on full charge, lets me play all my emulators on my phone. On the bad side, directional pad seems to only register one direction at a time, so playing fighting games like street fighter is a real challenge. I wish this had analogs and a better d-pad with the same size and form factor

Even Great For Big Hands!
Thing has great battery life, very small, very portable, even has a nifty lanyard. However, some say it is uncomfortable with big hands. My hands are quite big, though, and with the Zero I'm still comfy enough to play a nimble game like Link to the Past. Controller mapping on Android is quite good as well. Excellent value!

Cute and functionable!
Does exactly what it advertises. One of the best Android controllers on the market in my opinion. The only thing to note is that the pairing differs depending on what device you're using. They include instructions on which buttons to hold and such on the red back part of the packaging, so you'll want to save that.

Great now that it pairs
== REPLACEMENT REVIEW ==So after trawling the interwebs and finding conflicting reports on how to set stuff up and posting on a reddit, someone just told me that my hardware was guff and to return it, so I did and got a replacement and it paired straight away no issues so far (only had it a day).I was using it with RetroArch via steam (over steamlink) and it works a treat, no faffing about, I still give it 4 stars as there are lots of different modes to it all and it seems a little complicated especially with the conflicting info, but if you just hold start OR R + Start and pair it, and start playing everything seems to work fine.== ORIGINAL PRODUCT REVIEW ==Spent over 2 hours trying to pair the thing, it flashes but never comes up in bluetooth listings on Phone or Windows 10, have tried starting it as keyboard as per their youtube (B + Start) have tried just doing it as a gamepad (Start), have tried joystick (R + Start). Then although their Youtube and most documents say just do the above, one other lone document on their site says power it on then press the select button for 2 seconds, a light blue light flashes for a moment, but nothing changes. I have also done a myriad of other button combinations to see what happens, my favourite was holding start and select which makes it just do R,G,B in a disco fashion. I have also done the whole "hold start for 8 seconds to reset the device" this hasn't improved anything either.I have also tried connecting it via USB to the computer incase it was the bluetooth being a problem (have lots of other bluetooth devices connected, and have even removed some of them incase there were some conflicts, but nothing worked, and plugging it in USB just seemed to charge it.Anyway some people apparently have it working, I am not one of those people... I expect you won't be one of those people either.

Good, if you don't mind connectivity issues, but you should.
In retrospect, I don't really get the quantity of the positive reviews for this game controller. My biggest concern before getting this was its small size, but actually it's comfortable to use for casual gaming. The Bluetooth connection though is a constant struggle. I mostly use this with my Macbook to play Shovel Knight through Steam. To get this to work I have to turn it on, go to Steam Big Picture, use the controller for a few steps, then get out of the Big Picture, and THEN load up the game, a workflow that I discovered by myself after hours of struggling with online tutorials, Bluetooth settings, 3rd party software and Bluetooth connection modes. Then it seems to work nicely for maybe half an hour or so, but suddenly it will start lagging badly and to fix this I have to turn it off and on, which means, I have to exit the game and then repeat the above steps all over again.Getting this to work with iPads is even harder, as I have to choose a different connection mode (iCade) which most modern games don't support anyway. Same goes for Apple TV. I haven't use it on a Windows machine yet, but I wouldn't expect much of an improvement there. On a side note, choosing the appropriate connection mode (out of the three supported), is a struggle of its own, as the key combinations don't seem to work everytime and the online instructions are also confusing.Overall, when 8Bitdo Zero works, it's good, but the connectivity issues are so frustrating it's hard for me to recommend this controller to anyone.

Tidy, functional.
I got this thing after thinking to myself "I wonder if I can get a tiny Bluetooth controller".Five minutes of Amazon searching later and I found this thing.Pros:- Small- Cheap- Great for emulators- Works as a remote shutter for your selfies as well- Feels nicer than you'd think for the size and price- Can easily be carried "just in case" you want to game on your phone etc.Cons:- Battery discharges while off, so occasionally you'll get it out of your pocket and it'll be dead.- Very occasionally (once every few months) has a bit of a problem maintaining a connection.- The D-Pad is a tiny bit squishy.- Has only 2 shoulder buttons and no analog stick so you can only use it for emulating systems that don't need those.Overall it feels and functions well beyond what you'd expect for the modest price.I can easily live with the shortcomings for the convenience of having the controller in my pocket, ready for an impromptu game of Sonic the Hedgehog on the train.
