Cracked within a few months of using. It still works, just not as tight when I move it to the position I want and can fall easily if bumped

The media could not be loaded.  This couldn't have come around at a better time, the oem GoPro clamp quick disconnect has just broken just as most of my official GoPro mounts have, and this was a viable replacement as a great price over the GoPro one, so it was a good thing that i was offered this for a discount in exchange for my honest and unbiased review. I was able to quickly clamp it onto my dads boat side rail, onto the cargo bar on the four wheeler, onto the roll bar of my dads tractor all instantly, without having to unscrew the screws for the roll bar or bicycle mount, or stick anything on permanently with the adhesive mounts, just clamp and go and you have a nice strong mount. you need a strong hand, or two hands, in order to squeeze this open to its widest opening, its nice and strong with a thick spring to hold tight, it also has a inner rubber grommet string kind of thing that you can use to get extra grab strength on round objects like bars and such. the movable joint part is similar to a line-loc system only in a large scale, its nice and tight so that it holds it position once positioned. This one is alot larger than the GoPro one which really allows you to articulate it around, above, under and in just about any position you can think of.One last use for this is also as a makeshift steady-cam, if you hold the articulating neck about midway and allow the clamp to be used as a weight, or maybe even clamping some weight to the clamp, it can be used as a makeshift steadicam as the movements will be somewhat stabilized by the lower weight of the clamp under where you hold it, this makes it useful for walking around and handheld video.

Bought this for Hero 4 Black to mount to backstop so I can record softball games. Everything included will allow you to mount your GoPro to this jaws clamp. I can't tell the difference from the branded GoPro jaw clamp. This has all the same features: strong jaw clamp, internal adjustable rubber strap inside of jaws for increasing grip strength on unusual objects (like metal backstop fencing), and stable flexible gooseneck. Product is great and you save a little money over the GP brand. My only gripe is that I have to use a small bungee cord to secure the jaw clamp from not moving around in the wind.I am using this setup just to keep GoPro clutter down to a min. I was trying to avoid buying a lynxspider ([...]). But, I will probably just buy a lynxspider in the near future as an alternative.Good product for non GoPro, quick shipping.

Good aftermarket case for gopro 3 silver edition. It is waterproof and the fog preventers are a nice touch when in wet conditions. Though after about 6 months of usage the black clamp is starting to come off the spring and makes me feel uneasy using it as much due to it being a $400 camera. Though this is just my cautious mindset. It definitely is better than spending 50+ on the stock brand.

I received this within a day or 2 of ordering so the vendor is very prompt! I have used it under water and in an office environment. The clamp is very strong and secure. The length and malleability of the neck make it handy for a number of purposes.I used it for a GoPro Hero Silver, but it seems like it would have a variety of uses.The one oddball thing is that the sheathing protecting the neck from water collects water when submerged and drains all over everything until it can finally dry out, so be careful when you bring it back in the house.

Only giving 4 stars because GoPro 4 silver doesn't fit snug in the case so you have to put something in the case in order for the mode button to work. I just popped in a couple of the anti fog stops to make it work. Otherwise works as advertised.

The product does look like a knock off GoPro water proof case so I shouldn't be complaining. Now for the quality off the case. It feels like cheap plastic material. For my case, the metal part of the clip on the top was bent and fell off. The plastic clip was also low quality plastic. You can see the plastic mold marks on the back of the clip. For that I gave it a three star rating.

For the whitewater folks. I took a gnarly swim and my boat got pinned on a bridge pillar. took a while to unpin it. held water out just fine but didn't handle the shock of dragging it up the river bank well. Screen poped off once I got it on land. I put some RTV silicone on the lens edges to hold it back in and water. seems fine now.
