I got this for 9 year old basket ball loving son. He wanted a robot and this one has multiple options including mini Sports balls and buildable basket ball hoop in Basket bot. That was a major driving factor for him to build this robot. The instructions were clear and easy to understand. The pieces are made up of good quality plastic. My 9 year old needed some help coding but it is a good toy for Teens to practice coding skills. It requires a good amount of time and patience and is a good activity to keep older kids busy in something that helps brain building as well as creative coding learning skills. This is a perfect gift not only for older kids but also for adults to keep themselves engaged with some creative activity. Absolutely recommend it!

The instructions are phenominal! You put the app on your pad and it takes you through every step of the build one piece at a time. You can enlarge the image (step), or rotate it in any direction you want for better clarification. Once assembled, works great. Fun and educational as you can learn the basics of programming.
