This hat is too small for an adult's head. It would fit a child 12 and under.

I bought the beaver version of this cap. I think I got the last one because the item is not longer posted on Amazon so I cannot review the beaver version specifically. Nevertheless, I wanted to provide my opinion of the beaver cap because my guess is all the animal caps by Mohawk Sport are similarly constructed and sized. I purchased the beaver cap for a costume my kid needs for school. I thought the price was fair for the quality of the product. The cap has a wool exterior and is lined with fleece on the inside. It appears to be well constructed. The hat fits my 9 year old son well. He is 55" and 75+ pounds. The cap can also fit me (average size adult female) because it stretches. The cap fits okay on my 6 year old, but you can tell it's big (looks slightly baggy on his head). The beaver version of this cap has a tail sewn onto the back bottom of the hat. It hangs down off the hat about 4".
