Love the results, sheen, curl & volume
I just got it, used once and I love the results. I’m a senior citizen and not as agile as I once was. This lets me straighten & curl the ends at the same time without having to hold my arms stretched so tightly. My hair is thick and longish (below my shoulders). I was able to reproduce the sheen my hair stylist achieves. YouTube tutorials were a must see for me to understand about the rotation directions.

Worst ive ever used
I expected this to work great since it was pretty expensive. But after using it many times, it doesn't do anything. It barely dries my hair and it leaves it so frizzy. Even when I use it on dry hair it makes it worse than my natural hair. I dont know how it does this. Please save your money and don't use this.

he Instyler Max WET TO DRY 2-way rotating iron is a good hair styling tool for all females who like to style their hair. This product can let you skip the blow drying step and can be used directly on damp hair. Beyond drying your hair, this iron can straighten and curl your hair easily. Therefore, if you are only considering investing in one hair styling tool, I would strongly recommend this Instyler iron based on the safety, efficiency and operability of the product. This product comes with the rotating iron, removable cooling tip and a removable heat protecter. If you are a new user, the removable pieces keep you safe from burning yourself when styling your hair. Even if you are a professional user, these pieces are an extra protection for you. At the same time, this product has 4 heat settings up to 425 F to fit all needs for all types of hair. This iron only needs 30 seconds to heat up, which could save you time in a rushed morning and help you get perfect hair efficiently. Meanwhile, this product can give you the volume and shine you often find in a salon. Use the product in the natural direction, you would have a sleek straight hair, or you could utilize the rotation to create soft curls and beachy waves. One important feature this product emphasizes is the two-way automatic rotation. With this function, users no longer need to switch hands to style hair, the iron will do the work as you hold the product. By double clip the barrel, the iron will switch the rotation direction and give you the inside or outside wave you desire.Even though this product could be a little pricy, considering all the functions this product can perform, it is a worthy investment. This product can dry, straighten and curl your hair, which can save you space and money because you only need one tool instead of three different tools.

Love it!
This worked great for my fine hair. I have very fine hair, but a lot of it, so blow-drying and then straightening can take almost two hours, and cause all kinds of tangles. The InStyler Wet To Dry cut that time in half! My hair looks amazing after using it. It also works great on dry hair. It definitely works best when my hair is half-dry or more. It did still take a while for me to do my hair when it was damp, so this may not work well for people with thicker hair.

Very disappointed in this upgrade
I have the original version of this item and it it awesome. I bought this one thinking it would be great as well, but it doesn’t work well at all. It doesn’t dry hair at all and the part in the middle that is supposed to channel water out keeps it from being able to apply pressure so keeps it from being able to give the smooth look I get from the original. I got this for the drying and the change of direction. Change of direction - A++. Hair drying - F- I dried my hair with a hair dryer almost completely and still had to run it through several times to get it to finish drying, especially the part toward the top of the styler because it won’t close down well, even with very little hair in it. Buy the original one - it is great. Don’t waste your money on this one.

sweaty process) looks like I have legitimately curly hair - and this is ...
Man, I wanted this to work for me.I researched exhaustively and out of all the choices I settled on this, because the technology intrigued me, and because I wanted something that dried and styled my hair at the same time.My hair is a combination of sort-of-straight in the very back (near the nape of my neck) to a combo of frizzy/large, unruly, waves and curls, especially near the front of my head, and at the crown. The strands are thin, but there are a lot of them. It is surprisingly hard to straighten, even for professionals; It is the kind of hair that a. after 45 minutes of drying with a round-brush, results in a giant, straight-sh poof, b. slowly waves up in a couple of spots over the course of the day no matter how it's straightened and c. if I coat it with curl boosters and curl-diffuse-blow-dry it with surgical precision, and then spray it to within an inch of its life with a soft-hold hairspray (an exhausting, hot, sweaty process) looks like I have legitimately curly hair - and this is what I WISH my hair just DID, without effort. In short, my hair kinda sucks. :PNow, onto this styler (which I used with a really good heat-protectant all-over and a very light leave-in conditioner only on the ends):What didn't work:First of all, man, it took a really, really long time to dry my whole head, especially the hair on the top of my head. At least 45 minutes.Secondly, it left my hair kind of limp. Just...blah, with no body at all. And I tried really hard to coax lift at the roots and some curl-under at the ends, so, considering how many other users commented on how much body they got with this, I'm scratching my head over it. In the end I was really bummed when after all that effort I had to just pull it all back i a limp little pony-tail,Third, the device was kinda heavy (but not prohibitively so for most folks, I'd suspect), and I think its weight is necessary considering its build and the materials used, but since it took so long to dry my hair with it it got tiresome lugging it around my head and pulling it through my hair. Finally, I burned my fingers twice, even though I was really mindful about where the heat-source was. This thing needs to come with a glove, period. What did work:I love the design and conceptually it SHOULD have had a more voluminous effect on my hair as the physics for that IS there; for some reason it just didn't work for me. And, the rotating aspect is really cool, it's easy to switch rotation direction, and as I used it I really appreciated the cleverness of that feature...*sigh*....Maybe it's just my hair specifically wasn't meant for this device, and I can see how others would love it.Unfortunately the higher cost just makes it so I'm going to have to return it to try something else (i.e.If it were lower-priced I'd probably keep it and try it in conjunction with a hot-air brush - which I have to buy now anyway - first).
