Works but too big and heavy
I did not realize it was this big. The NEMA 11 stepper motor that came with the assembly was too heavy for my robotics project requirements. For something with a 3-4" travel, it thought it will be a little smaller and lighter. Anyway, I'm using it not for its intended purpose so I'll have to perform a workaround. Other than this, it works okay.

Looks beefier than it is
This seemed to be the perfect Z axis for my 3018 mill, that is until I mounted it. There is an abundance of slop between the bearings and the rods they slide on. There is no adjustment for this so I will have to make my own. I drilled and counterbored holes in the alum structure to mount to my machine so there is no returning it now. Also, the stepper motor did not work, I ended up using one from the original Z axis. Be aware! If you buy this you will have to do some work to make it what you are looking for.

Good for Small CNC
it is more stable then I thought. I used it to cut aluminum panels. It should be easy to modify from Nema 17 to Nema 23 if you had 3D printer. CON have to make extra block to hold my 500mw spindle.
