Great for pain relief with little to no smell.
Very low smell. Seems to be of high quality as well. I use castor oil before putting it on painful areas. I work a very physical job with lots of aches and pains! Works well to help leg and knee pain. I have to be careful on my arms as some skin is much more sensitive than others. Feels like a sunburn. Takes the pain down to almost nothing. I am new to DMSO and am finding new uses too. Great value as it takes very little to be effective. Roller distributes well.

it works
Goes on easily and ends the pain, and very easy to use as well as being very high quality, decent, smells good, and is a good value for what I spent on it.

IF ITS TOO WARM OR SKIN IS SENSITIVE DO THE FOLLOWING
It’s unfair to give this product a poor review before understanding that it’s not a “bad product”. This is SUPPOSED to get really warm. If it’s causing skin sensitivity, it’s super easy to thwart that. If people do just a small amount of research they can avoid the discomfort. DSMO can work just fine as it comes for some & be too warm or cause skin sensitivity for others. The way to remedy that is to dilute the product SLIGHTLY with either distilled water or 100% Aloe Vera. DMSO is SUPPOSED to get warm upon contact of skin application & of any container it’s mixed in. It lasts only a few seconds. Diluting it the a bowl will warm slightly too. Just because your skin was sensitive to the warmth does not mean it’s a poor product - it’s just the makeup of it. If you’re concerned, purchase the 8oz glass bottle & dilute w/distilled water. Make a 70/30 or 60/40 mixture. The more it’s diluted the less heat but the less effective too. (You definitely want the higher percentage amount to be dmso). And yes, it MUST BE distilled water!! The reason is bcz it absorbs through the skin so quickly that it pulls anything it’s mixed with right into the skin with it & anything that’s already on the skin too. So clean the skin surface with peroxide 1st (not isopropyl alcohol). If you want you can use what’s inside this roll-on & that can be diluted too. For the sake of the people who found their skin too sensitive for this roll on, Im describing a way to use it without having to return or waste it. Simply turn the bottle upside down & squeeze some of the product (gel) into a small bowl, (I used a very small Tupperware container w/a lid) then add a couple tablespoons of distilled water, I capped it, shook to mix (& yes the container became slightly warm for a few seconds) & then I used it just like that. It worked just fine. I dipped a cotton ball in & rubbed it into my knee & lower back. It worked just fine. Any smell of garlic disappears once it’s completely dry. I poured the rest into a glass dropper bottle & stored to use later. Yes it can be premixed & used later. I hope this helps people bcz the poor reviews seem to be coming from those who haven’t looked into how versatile DSMO is.

Effective role on in BPA Free plastic
I am pretty amazed at the effectiveness of this product. It works quickly and has even helped an ankle that was broken over 40 years ago. I see that this roll on is in BPA free plastic, but it is in plastic. I believe I will order something in Glass in the future.

Ouch!
The roller ball was very stiff, I actually didn’t think I had any on my skin but w in seconds I felt an acid burn like sensation on my lower back where my arthritis is, it felt like a rug burn or what some would describe as getting a tattoo. Terrible stinging pain, grateful that the ball did not work as well as I was expecting.

Good product
I’m as old now as my grandmother when she first started using dmso for her arthritic hands. I find it works as well for me as it did for her many years ago. She didn’t have the advantage of a roll on applicator, or perhaps the quality assurance of product purity. This really helps my neck and shoulder pain. Recommend it heartily

Professional dancers experience with the DMSO
First of all I am a professional dancer so we always have some kind of pain and I've found....NOTHING......as great as DMSO...LOVE THE ROLL ON MORE THAN THE OTHERS TOO! My experience is that it does itch and a bit of burning but I can get through that......I've even put it on....up near my ear lobe and down the neck and actually would like to try it near the side of my nose on my face but haven't did that one yet! "NOTHING" works better for me with pain than DMSO....I put it pretty much almost everywhere!!!!!! As my one Russian Ballet teacher said to me one time.....If your a professional dancer....Ballet or other dance forms ect...ect and you wake up with no pain...."MEANS YOUR DEAD" LAUGH!!!!!!! AND I AM 78 YRS YOUNG AND AM A Flamenco dancer too and STILL DANCING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LEAKS EVERYWHERE!!!! Can't tell if it works or not.
This is SO RUNNY (and/or the roller doesn't work???) that it just RUNS OUT everywhere. The lid was cracked at arrival, but I guess that maybe doesn't hurt anything (unless it dries up/evaporates faster). But this stuff is a MESS to use. Even holding the bottle RIGHT SIDE UP and rubbing it on the palm of my hand, there is liquid running down the outside of the bottle, getting on everything (I did, of course, shake it up before using). To use it on my ankle/tendons and on my knees is a horrible mess. It runs down my legs from my knees and when applied to ankles it runs all down onto the floor, etc. Maybe this works. Maybe not. I can't really tell much difference. I can BARELY Smell it (mainly because it's spilled all over the place and on my hands, etc.). I've heard so much about how it smells like garlic and makes you taste garlic, that I expected this roll on to do the same, but I sure can't smell or taste it. I had bought another brand at the same time (with Aloe in it) and I will leave feedback about it, too, in a few minutes. But I have the OPPOSITE problem with THAT roll on - it will BARELY Come out of the bottle, at all. BUT, I CAN SMELL Garlic with THAT one - NOT with this one.
