If you have a central vac, you need this. Everybody's favorite. Works great.

Installation took me all of 2 minutes. There is an adaptor (included) that allows you to easily connect your vacuum line (usually a short hose, not solid tube) to. The adaptor can be positioned anywhere from 90° - 270° radius (approx). I used a pipe clamp to connect the hose to the adaptor/dust pan, connected the two low-voltage wires, installed two screws and that was it. The small opening of this dust pan allows dust and other debris to be vacuumed inside very quickly. Operation of this pan is as simple as flipping the foot switch from left (off) to right (on) and right (on) to left (off). This unit is loud when in operation, but the sound it makes isn't that bad for 5-15 seconds. I 100% recommend this unit. If you need a face plate, there is one that fits this Cen-Tec sweep pan. It's used if you have a larger cutout than what the size of this unit is. In my case, I was replacing a different model inlet dustpan with this one and this one isn't as tall (2.5") where the old one was at least 1/8" - 1/4" taller. Width is the same though.
