The media could not be loaded. As other reviews state, these are hard to open. I need two hands, but it’s worth it. The grip is incredibly strong.I’m using ours to hold the patio set cover on.Originally I’d put them on vertically, and they flew off with the force of the cover being blown. However, clip them on horizontally and they are much more resistant to the force of the wind blowing the cover up. They haven’t come off at all since doing this, even in very strong wind. I’ve positioned them with more clips concentrated in the areas taking most of the wind force. I’m really impressed with these mighty little clips!

They look brilliant, well made, good quality, nicely packaged.But they are SO strong I couldn't even open them and my husband had to use considerable effort to do so.I think we are getting old and weak.lolI bet they would do the job if you had the strength to prise open the jaws.

It’s difficult to estimate the the size and quality of clamps from a web page photo. These are not flimsy and are the right size for me. They will do the job.

Bought these to secure cover for garden furniture over the winter. Great product can not believe how secure the cover is kept securely in place. Putting then in place on the cover was a 2 person job, one to keep the cover in place and one to secure the clip in place ( needs both hands to open the clips!!).

These are exactly what I was looking for. They are very strong. I used two hands to open one. They are large and look very durable. I used them to hold my green house cover to the green house after the ribbons snapped in the very windy weather we had recently. They look quite big and obvious, but i don't mind that at all. Not been tested in super strong winds as I only attached them on Sunday, but they look like they should hold up well. Came in a good quality box too. Thank you for helping me save my old green house from destruction for a bit longer.

Have not used these clamps yet but first impressions suggest that they are well made and strong. I need them for clamping during gluing wood together and they should be good for that. As other reviewers have said, it takes both hands to open them fully unless you are Charles Atlas! Will update my review when I have used them.

I bought these to secure a garden furniture cover as the cover's own ties were not doing the job in high winds. With these clips, the cover is going nowhere! Really strong and effective. They were a little bit difficult to prise open as they are so strong, but worth the effort!
