If you want to be successful, here's your formula.
If I thought that reading this book was a kick in the pants, having it read TO me on Audible was even more motivating. I felt like Dan was right in the room with me, giving me heck for some bad habits I've slipped into and confirming my belief that yes, it does take hard work to be successful. What you'll learn from Dan is very different than what you will hear from those other gurus out there posting from a Third World beach. He isn't going to give you a pretty song and dance about how he works 5 minutes, two days a week and makes millions of dollars. He's going to give you a dose of reality. If you want success...really WANT it... do what Dan tells you. It may not be the effortless get-rich-quick schemes that other entrepreneurial advisers are shilling, but it will work for nearly anyone who is willing to put in the effort.PS: If you're really offended by some off-color language, you aren't going to get very far in business.

Reading this book is like going to therapy. Or at least going for a colonic.
Reading this book is like going to therapy. Or at least going for a colonic. If you are reading this review, you know you have stuff to work on - this book is the kick in the pants that will get you to do the hard work. Dan Meredith isn't concerned about your feelings, but he DOES care about you being the best you can be.The personal anecdotes read like a comedy (or tragedy)... but the core of this book is looking at oneself, figuring out WHY we aren't being awesome, and fixing the problem - fixing it from the root.Dan Meredith turns the Self-Help world upside down with this book. Honest, brutal, yet surprisingly sensitive and empathetic. What I love about Dan's approach is that he doesn't try to excite the reader or put people into a temporary state of false confidence (ie, Tony Robbins). Rather, Dan forces the reader to confront their own faults and fix them.

Best way to describe what reading this book is like
Best way to describe what reading this book is like... Imagine reading a great book highlighting the s*** out of the BEST parts. When you take a second look at the book; this time all you read are the most important highlighted items. This is exactly what Dan has done for you!! He's taken out all of the "fluff and bulls***"! Leaving just the meat to digest and gnaw on. He has basically given you the highlighted (quick) version on how to follow his steps to success! It's an easy read with a lot of wisdom! This book has changed my business and how I get things done.
This book has changed my business and how I get things done. It’s a “kick you in the butt”, “take actionable steps” plan to move forward. I read this book at the exact moment my business was evolving (read: in a state of utter confusion) and it helped me:Stop complaining about my frustrationsClear the clutter of my to-do listsGet me focused on what I do want to be doingStructure my day so that I also maintain my health and sanityStart to move my business forward and get it out of “Stuck” modeGet out of my own limiting belief headspace to just start “DOING”I loved this book (read it twice and will read it again and again) and Dan is a wickedly smart, funny, and motivating person who will get you going towards success. Is this book the “normal” entrepreneurial book? NO! THAT’S what makes it Awesome!!!

Dan F%ckin' Rocks
This is not your everyday motivational self-help book. The man means business and truly wants you to succeed and be the person you are dreaming of becoming, but with a big caveat. You gotta work and when I say work, you gotta work like you want it. It won't be easy, but then again anything worth working for Isn't. As he puts it, you have to go "balls or ovaries" deep. Instead of relying on positive affirmations or crystals, he lays some ground rules to follow, which again are not the run of mill ideas. He places importance on the things that matter and reminds you that the journey of entrepreneurship is a long, but a worth endeavor. If you want a good swift kick in the a$$, and want some direction on how to make sh%t happen, then this book is for you.

It's mostly good information, but very business heavy
The first half of the book I found very interesting and sometimes quite helpful, but be aware that a good portion of this book is less about character and more about business/entrepreneurship. If you aren't the type of person who is interested in making some product or service to sell, there is a large chunk of the book that won't really apply to you.

Good Advice
This book is for the type of person that is not offended by an accationnal harsh word, it is straight forward. The book has solid advice and seems to be well documented (I didn't look up any of the references). My favorite part of the book was his thank you section, it was well thought out.

Title of the book says it all!
I have been following dan as well as a few other influential individuals and one book they kept raving about was this one. Not only does it open eyes to Dans personal life but also and more importantly opened my eyes on my own life. This is by far my favorite book. From the blunt honesty to real life accounts Dan went through. Looking for a good solid "easy" read that'll kick right where the sun doesn't shine, then pick up this book.

Breath of Fresh Air!
Finally someone tells it as it really is.With Dan you get to see every aspect of life as an entrepreneur, warts and all.'Most' authors in this market seem to thrive on either letting the reader know just how wonderful the author is or blowing smoke up you know where as they guide you through page after page of waffle.Dan does the complete opposite. He offers practical and proven steps that have enabled himself and others to achieve and continue to achieve great things.Dan's book has already impacted my business positivelyI got out of the way of myself and my biz is growing daily. If you're willing to do the work then this book is definitely for you.If you feel you're not performing at your best, this book is for you.If you want to run your business truly on your own terms then this book is most definitely for you.I'm not going to give any spoilers, go grab the book and find out for yourself why folks are raving.Phil

So good, I bought it
I had this on Kindle Unlimited. I loved it so much that I bought it, to free up a space in my allowance and because I didn't want to lose it if every I cancelled Kindle Unlimited.I raved about this to a friend and lent her my Kindle on a long coach journey. She gave it back to me within 3 minutes because she'd decided to buy a copy for herself. It's worth free. It's worth the price I paid for it. It's worth SO much more.

All I needed to know to Get Sh*t Done!
I listened the audiobook version of this, twice, before buying the book. I like how Dan talks - he doesn’t hold back. Yes, there are swear words but that just made me like this more - he talks just like I do.This book has genuinely changed my outlook on business and also life. It’s helped me get my head out of my arse and take responsibility - If I want it, I’ve got to go and get it, and it gave me the confiden e to feel I could.Am now a part of Dan’s Facebook group, which is also awesome, and regularly take part in challenges to improve even more. It’s not unknown for him to drop you an email himself just to check in. I highly rate the book, I highly rate the author. Give it a read - it’s well worth it

The worst book I've read
Argh this book was chronic. So much so in fact that I have never written a book review before and the only inspiration I now have is to write my first! The writer is trying to convince you he's bad ass in every chapter and it comes across as insecure and desperate. The advice is primary school level and when he boasts about how fast he wrote the book I was surprised he'd wasted that much time on it. Wasting the money is one thing but also a total waste of time.

All 5 stars
So you buy it, then you read it and it’s not bad advice, it’s tediously written, swearing, immature drivel.
