Really poor product. The batteries aren't strong enough to hold a charge that will allow you to hear music across the room. Save your money up for a Boze.

Small and easy to connect to almost anything. The Bluetooth works well with my phone, MP3 player and tablet. My only complaint is that it is not very loud. It is louder and sounds better on some surfaces than others. But over all it is a okay. I would not buy it if loud volume is desired. I would rate it at only 3 stars, because of the lack of volume.

I had a lot of hope for the eXo Xciter, I was optimisitc that it would combine the best part of the Wowwe 1  WOWee One Power Bass Portable Speaker for iPad, iPhone, MP3 Players, Laptops, Mobile Phones, and Personal Game Systems (Black)  with the Bluetooth features of the Kinivo Bluetooth/Rechargeable speaker ( Kinivo BTX110 Wireless Bluetooth Mini Portable Speaker for iPhone, iPad, Smartphones, Tablets & other Bluetooth Devices . However, if fell far short of my expectationsPros- Sound quality. If placed on the correct surface the eXo Xciter has nice sound - a very clean sound - firm and not overly metallic. Unfortunately, there just is not enough of it (more on that later).- Smaller than a hockey puck- Bluetooth works perfectly - great range and it pared almost instantly. It is a very smooth operator.- Very easy controls - simple to operate- Cool technology, it is fun to see what kind of sound response you get out of various surfaces- Easy to charge, and it comes with a retractable USB connector.Cons-- It just is not loud enough. Even on the very top volume, you will have difficulty hearing the eXo Xciter when you are standing 20 feet away. (the reason for taking off 2 stars)Final Verdict - The eXo Xciter is the very definition of a highly portable bluetooth speaker. I thought the sound performance was very good- BUT (and it is a big BUT) it just isn't loud enough. The eXo Xciter is just marginally louder than the built-in speaker on my iPod Touch (although it does sound better) and it is less loud than my iPad 2.3 Stars

Got this because I wanted a portable bluetooth speaker after seeing a friend of mine with a Jawbone Jambox. I didn't want to spend that much money on a speaker so I thought I would give the eXo Xciter a try. Very nice and solid package, pairs and charges as advertised. My only issue is that it really depends on the surface that the speaker is resting on. Also I have noticed that if you press down on the unit while it's on a surface the volume gets louder. But as other reviewers said it is not loud enough. My iPhone 4S speaker is about as loud as this so doesn't really make sense to carry the speaker around with me.

At the loudest setting, I can hear the music clearly while the sink or shower is on and when I'm in the bathroom or in the attached bedroom getting reaady. Thia is the first speaker I have been able to do this with and not have to change the volume contstantly (or ever!!)I'm telling everyone to get this, I love it and will prob get more!!!
