Very thin which is perfect for storing. I was scared that the magnets wouldn't be strong enough but they work perfectly. It can actually hold more than 40 half pans, as you can see in the photo. I love that the the lid can be completely taken off so it doesn't clash with my ceramic palettes when I paint. I really like how compact this is and the fun design is great. I'm getting a second one for my greens and blues. Best storage for watercolour pans and half pans that I have found, this should be in art supplies stores.

I love this box! Its is the cutest box i have found that is well made and solid. 40 good clear half-pans fitting perfectly inside. Magents are not that strong but they are enough to stop them falling out. I super-glued my magnets to the bottom of my half-pans and had no issues. This tin is really thin and not bulky which is perfect for my needs.My delivery experience was awful but this is not a fault of the seller or this product. Therefore delivery experience will not form part of my review.

This tin is very beautiful and holds all of my watercolours perfects my only quarry with it is that I wish the adhesive stuck a little better to the pans but I fixed that with a bit of gorilla glue so it’s a cheap fix! This is A LOT nicer than your average watercolour storage, I do know that.
