The taste is surprisingly pleasant—smooth and lightly sweet without being artificial or chalky, which can sometimes be an issue with meal replacement drinks. It’s refreshing when chilled, and the strawberry flavor comes across as more “creamy smoothie” than candy, which I appreciated. Each 8 oz bottle is just the right size—enough to feel like a satisfying mini-meal without weighing me down. The texture is velvety, not gritty, and it goes down easily. I like that it has 240 calories with 10 grams of protein, plus a wide spread of vitamins and minerals. It’s been especially useful on busy mornings when I don’t have time for a proper breakfast, or as a quick afternoon pick-me-up that actually carries some nutritional value. Packaging is also practical—the twist-off cap is secure, and the bottles are sturdy but not bulky. A pack of 24 fits neatly in the pantry, and it’s convenient to grab one on the go. Something to keep in mind: this is on the sweeter side, so if you’re sensitive to that, you may prefer it extra cold to balance the taste. It’s also not intended as a high-protein shake for athletes—10 grams is moderate, but for general nutrition and everyday energy, it hits the mark. Bottom line: BOOST Original in Creamy Strawberry is a tasty, convenient, and reliable nutritional drink that works well as a snack, light meal replacement, or supplement to a balanced diet. It has become a staple in my fridge for busy days. Review: Tastes great and is chock full of protein and vitamins. - My husband works nearly 60 hours a week at a very intense, physical job. He is not young anymore at 62 and he also suffers from Crohn's Disease, When it flares up, he stops eating most food and sticks to soup or whatever liquidy, bland food he can tolerate. His weight is lower than it should be and he doesn't take vitamins for whatever reason. He starts then stops any vitamins he gets. I bought a case of Boost High Protein in very vanilla for him to have in the morning or after dinner. I was thinking it had more calories like Ensure but 240 is a decent amount for a snack. The best part is that is has a lot of protein and tons of vitamins and minerals in it. It tastes delicious. I now drink it. (I do not need the extra calories but the protein and vitamins are good for me.) There is no fake sugar in this which would have completely turned my husband off. Still, he didn't want to even TRY it but he did and said it was pretty good. He has since been drinking a bottle at night, sometimes adding fruit to make a smoothie. I can't say that he suddenly bulked up and feels great but I know the ingredients are helping to fill the gap that his sporadic diet causes. And it is easy on the stomach so when he has a flare, he can drink a bottle of Boost rather than just sip broth. I am pleased with the flavor, the protein, and the vitamins and minerals. I wish it had some fiber in it but, still, I really believe this drink should replace a sugary soda or fatty snack for everyone. I now have this on Subscribe & Save and may have to get two cases a month - one for each of us. The price is good - better than others I looked at - and, most of all, the flavor is really good, making it like a tasty shake rather than any sort of nutritional supplement. I am going with 5 stars although 3-5 grams of fiber would REALLY make this perfect.

Delicious nutritional supplement
Someone in my family cannot eat solid food so must take liquid supplements. Mostly he used the high-protein variety, but every day he drinks one of this Peach flavor as a treat. I have tried it, and it is delicious! we buy this from Amazon because no store in our area carried this flavor.

Boost High Protein Complete Nutritional Drink, Very Vanilla, 8 fl oz Bottle, 24 Pack
Hot off the press as I just received not more than five minutes ago my order for Boost High Protein Complete Nutritional Drink, Very Vanilla, 8 fl oz Bottle, 24 Pack. The item appears as pictured on the listing page. I haven't tried the product yet as it's in the Refridgerator cooling off. I will try at room temperature as well to see which I like best. My energy levels have been low recently and I feel sleepy more often than usual. I ordered the Boost High Protein Complete Nutritional Drink, Very Vanilla, to supplement vitamins. Nonetheless, I purchased two cases to try while the pricing was reasonable. I choose vanilla because in products such as these usually taste best and I can add chocolate or other flavorings to it for variety. Several of the bottles received are dented but appear to be intact. There were no signs of leakage or cracks. The contents should be fine. As this is merely a first impressions review I will be updating after experiencing the Boost for a couple of weeks. I will add photos at that time as well. Please check back if interest in the results. Thank you. [UPDATE 12.08.2019] Thus far, none of the damaged bottles have been compromised. I removed the label when selecting one and although its container is dented, there are no cracks or breaks in the plastic bottles. The product tastes good at room temperatures, refrigerated, and at temps in-between. My primary reason for even ordering the product was to see if I was missing some necessary vitamins in my diet. I eat rather healthy; however, I have a tendency to forget to eat when I’m busy. At the start of 2019, I developed an issue around my lower back toward the right side. I first contributed it to a pulled muscle. Nevertheless, the pain persisted past the recommended time. I found myself leaning with a deduction of possible kidney stones. I had experience stones in the past but this feeling was much different. I knew it wasn't a pinched nerve or anything to deal with my spine. I finally gravitated my conclusion to a lack of vitamins. Being rather busy, I endured the discomfort for mostly the entire year. Once, I began drinking the BOOST, results were noticed quickly by the next day. The pain level was literally cut in half. Since day one, I drink one early in the morning and one before retiring for the evening. My pain is nearly gone, I predict by week’s end. The pain will be gone entirely. I’m not claiming others should follow my lead. I’m merely sharing my experience and reason for purchasing. I don’t subscribe to seeing doctors or taking medications. It’s my lifelong belief that the body is it's own pharmaceutical and should self-repair. However, the body does need nourishment to perform its task. Which vitamins were missing I do not know but I have supplied it with vitamines with BOOST and my body stepped up to the task of self-maintenance. // DIGITAL SIGNATURE // I close my reviews with a THANK YOU because I do appreciate you investing precious time in reading my material. Not so "healthy" with 30% SUGAR
The price is great, buying it by the carton- after a dentist extracted a molar and damaged my TMJ. I was shocked when I saw my blood sugar was 127 - "diabetic " level - scared too. It’s yummy, but that’s way too much ratio of sugars to other ingredients. I have thought I might even lose weight but, noooo - my scales are the same after 5 months. It’s not "diet" but it’s full of all sorts of things. Protein, vitamins, antioxidants, but 30% sugar? I won’t be buying these anymore. I will follow an almond milk smoothies recipe. Last time I got a bottle out, it felt light. I got another bottle to compare and peeled the bottles off without opening them. You can see the difference. I wrote Boost but have never heard anything from them yet. Lesson learned
