Perfect Simple CD Player
It was easy to operate and was without a speaker which is what I wanted. It works perfect attached to my Bose blue tooth speaker!

No brainer portable CD player
Why did you pick this product vs others?:It had all the desired features of a good portable CD player: anti skip, EQ settings, long life rechargeable battery, plus Bluetooth capability.Sound quality is nice. No unnecessary bells and whistles made this an easy choice. And the manufacturer offers a free 3 year extended warranty.

Okay CD Player, Cheap Build
I've had this CD player since January 2021. It's survived multiple long haul flights, getting thrown around while inside suit cases, multiple moves getting thrown around in boxes, etc.Anti skip works most times, but sometimes it's randomly inconsistent for some reason. It doesn't happen often though, once in a blue moon. I'll usually have to turn it off and on again. Works well enough to take it on walks with no issues though.I've never had the "No Disc" problem that others have had. Reads discs just fine.Sound quality is okay, it has EQ presets which are nice.Compact enough to fit inside shorts pocket. Doesn't take up much room.Battery lasts long.I don't use the bluetooth, only the headphone jack. Speaking of the headphone jack, it's quirky. It doesn't like certain headphones. For example, if I use my PC headphones, which have a mic, I'll get sound but the buttons on the CD player become unresponsive (except for the play/pause button). As soon as I remove the headphone jack from the CD player, the buttons work again. Buttons work fine with standard stereo headphones with no mic.Would I recommend this? I'll answer that by saying my next CD player will be something of higher quality. The lower quality from cutting corners on this CD player doesn't justify the $40 price tag. This technology is old, it should be perfected by now.

The Real Warranty Isn't Included
Like many others with 1-star review issues... the player suddenly stopped reading discs. I bought this for a oldest daughter, she used it a few times and it stopped reading discs. Contacted the manufacturer and after going back and forth with (sometimes ridiculous) troubleshooting steps, we were told to contact Amazon for a full refund. We registered the 3-year warranty included in the box, so I assumed this was acceptable, a full refund is better than being stuck with a defective product. After months going back and forth between Amazon and the manufacturer, my literal only option for resolving this issue is to return it to Amazon but with a Restocking Fee. I get it, Amazon needs to be compensated for processing the return of the product and it's not their fault it's defective... but the manufacturer offers absolutely no way to repair, replace, or refund the defective product. They also refuse to refund me for the restocking fee. In fact, they tell me it's up to the seller who, get this, pretends to be the manufacturer. As for one of the troubleshooting steps... they want you to turn on the player and drain the battery completely and recharge. This took FOREVER as the CD Player will turn off after 60 seconds if not playing anything. And it won't play anything if it ---get this--- doesn't read discs. Oakcastle or Majority or whoever it is who sells these products has lost a customer, and anyone else I can warn about this product. To be clear, the CD Player suffered no damage or misuse in it's short time with us. It just stopped reading discs randomly and never read them again.Again, I appreciate Amazon for allowing me to return this even if there is a restocking fee because my only other option is to cut my losses. $40 is a lot for a product that is quite literally built to fail with no real support.

Excellent Bluetooth CD player
Everything is okay with the player. We bought it for our son and I gave it a spin. The EQ is helpful but the default "none" seems best. It charged up fairly quickly out of the box and connected easily to my BT headphones.

Skip protection not great.
1st one I got didn't play certain CDs, some brand new, would play to a certain track and started making crazy noise. Got a replacement asap which is appreciated but still isn't the best with skip-protection which I bought it for. I've realized if some CDs had non-scratched issues (slight discoloration or whatever) it would skip like crazy. The CD had to be pristine to not skip. Which sucked cause I actually picked up an old Sony discman that carries batteries with G-protection and those CDs with slight discoloration worked near perfect. Barely any skip when walking or in a car/bus.Bluetooth sucks. Disconnects or skips audio when connected to a Bluetooth speaker or headphone/earbuds. Best audio experience is with wired headphones.3 stars for the excellent replacement service. Hopefully Oakcastle improves this issue with future models. Will probably favor this old Sony Discman with rechargeable AAs over the Oalkcastle for the skip protection alone
