This is a very well built product. There are several reviews stating that the terminal screws are too short to loop wire around. While this may be true, that is not how to wire this GFCI. You strip the wires and then insert them into the back of the receptacle. You then tighten the screws, which then clamp the wire. This is not like the 15amp push in's, which aren't the best. Unit works and was tested.

I’m not a huge fan of the tamper resistant feature if you are plugging and unplugging a lot. It’s difficult to plug things in. The blinking red or orange light every 20 seconds or so is normal as long as the green light is solidly on. It should address that somewhere in the instructions hence the 4 stars.

Poor design. It was extremely difficult to get the wires underneath the screws. The screws don't come out far enough for solid core wire of the gauge used in my house and the "pocket" was not big enough to make a half loop of the wire to hook it around the screw before tightening. What should have been a 2-minute job to replace a failed device turned into 20 minutes of struggling, sweating, and cussing. Don't buy. I purchased this online to save a trip to the local hardware store. Better to go to the hardware store and put your hands on the device you intend to purchase.

it seems a good quality and fit nicely. It’s hard GFIC that’s not expensive. This was perfect for what I needed. It still is on the larger side so if you have a lot of wires in your outlet, it will be tough.
